   We happened to be in the city looking at condos and wanted to go to lunch so I opened up Open Table for the closest restaurants. The posting, pictures and reviews made it look very interesting and inviting. It was easy valet parking right on Fullerton Beach. The interior gave us an awesome view of the frozen lake . Mary our waitress went through the brunch menu with us and gave us several suggestions which were spot on. We started off with the selections of breads with honey butter (scrumptious) and doughnut holes (also very tasty). Then we moved on to the sausage and egg on ciabatta, orange churro French toast and breakfast nachos. Go for the sausage breakfast and the French toast. Both were fabulous! A totally enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

   I love Theater on the Lake and would have given this 5 stars but the hostess was very rude. Explaining all the rules like we were being processed into a prison and even though I specifically asked for and was confirmed by a call from the restaurant, a table by the window closest to the lake, the hostess had major attitude and seemed annoyed and bothered by this request. The place was mostly empty and plenty of couples were seated at 4 tops but when we asked for a four top, the rolling of eyes and attitude serviced again. The valet, waiter, and everyone else made up for it and we enjoyed our brunch. Again, LOVE theater on the Lake even though we were greeted with toxicity.

   We aleays enjoy this restaurant with its great viws and fine service. The food is very good though I would like to see the menu change a little more often. The interior is nice with the attractive center bar and tables nicely spaced but as I have said bfore the huge screens over the bar detract from the view and ambiance and the room could use a little softening. But overall had a very good time there!

   I celebrated my 60th Bday here. I will be celebrating the entire month of January!! 🎉🎊🎂 This was my 8th restaurant since I began! I am so happy to have finally had the chance to dine here. We also enjoyed the R&B musical quintet. The food and drinks were delicious! The atmosphere had a beautiful ambiance. I love it and will definitely be back!!

   Food is soooo good. Service is great. Sitting by the windows overlooking the Lake was fun. Definitely going to go more often. Only complaint: they seated a large table of people right on top of us instead of in the middle of the restaurant where there was more room (and better re: COVID).

   Had a great experience with my spouse. Could have had a little bigger menu at better value, but it was ok. The dining room was a little cold on a winter day, and the echoing of other table's conversations were a little loud.

    I haven there several times for lunch and have enjoyed the food and service The location is beautiful specially for lunch My first time for dinner and we enjoyed it Recommend for those who may be nervous to go out for dinner during pandemic Very pandemic safe environment

    Have been regular diners throughout the pandemic….dining outside almost weekly last winter. As such we have established a great relationship with many of the staff. We always feel very welcome, love the food and feel safe enough to continue to have a regular dining venue. Thank you!

    We had a great time. The wine was wonderful though the appetizer was smaller than expected. The view of the lake in one direction and the Chicago skyline in another direction can’t be beat. We plan to go back when warm weather returns and we can sit outside. A bonus was that since we arrived before 4:00 pm, the parking was free. It would also be a great place to meet up with friends for their weekend brunch.

    Went here before a concert at the same venue. Service from valet to servers was top notch. The bar area is big and plenty of tv’s. The food was fine, had the ceviche which was fresh, served with store bought tortilla chips to start. Entrees were chicken fried chicken that was a little bland but ok, I had a burger and fries that was perfectly acceptable, not a wow but fine. I would go back for sure, being January the outside areas were not open but look forward to trying this in summer. Being right off the lakefront trail it’s a great spot.

    Lovely venue. Very good, friendly staff. Entrees were barely warm, should be hot. Other than that the salmon entree was good. The chicken wing appetizer was served hot and was tasty. Cocktails and wine were good, but a little pricey. Have dined here twice in over 2 months and would like to see more variety on the menu. Really enjoy pairing dinner with the candlelight concerts!

    We went as a group of six on New Years Day, 2022. The service was GREAT. Food was Sensational! (Thank-You Chefs!!) We like that they space the tables for covid safety, Don't want to forget to THANK the Bartenders and the Hostesses. Kaleigh was our server. She was wonderful! Professional and Friendly. Wait staff outstanding as well! Only 2 gripes. Bloody Mary's should not cost $14 It is senseless to have valet parking, when it is easy enough to self park. OK to pay $10

    We had our friend's Christmas brunch here and it was the first time visiting this restaurant for all 8 of us. The views are stunning and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was great. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we were pleasantly surprised by the bottomless mimosa brunch option. All of our meals came out fairly quickly, were large portions, and overall good. The only complaint I heard from our group was the few that ordered the brisket hash. It tasted great, but didn't have alot of potatoes for being a hash. It was mostly brisket and peppers, with a few pieces of potato thrown in. But everything tasted great regardless.

    It's always nice to eat at a restaurant which has amazing views....but even nicer when the food is really great. We enjoyed brunch so much this is my new go-to. The brisket hash, deviled eggs and cinnamon bun were all outstanding. Convenient valet parking and above average service made this place a win.

    Amazing restaurant! We enjoyed the delicious brunch with our family. The menu had many wonderful choices and everything was prepared beautifully. We enjoyed mamosas with our meals and the view was breathtaking with cheery and accommodating servers. We will most certainly return with friends and family to enjoy this gem in our beautiful city!     We went for Brunch. No music which is weird for a brunch.. Burger was terrible due to low quality of meat. $20 bottomless mimosas were good. View and ambiance was excellent!
