   I love The Library but was sad to know the tomato soup and flat bread were not in their menu anymore. Other than that, service was great and brussel sprouts as always didn’t disappoint.

   The food was delicious, but the flavors and quality of its sister restaurant Oxford Exchange is much better. Prices were fair and the ambience was beautiful. My main complaint is the redundancy of reservation confirmations. I received a text the day before to confirm, then a phone call the morning of to confirm, then a text 10 minutes before the reservation time to confirm again. It was quite irritating.

   Made a reservation with a deposit, asked if we could be seated inside since it was 55 degrees outside with extreme wind conditions they denied having any available tables inside. Service was slow and food was cold. Do not recommend coming if it’s for a special occasion

   There was a terrible mix-up in the service. For a party of two, we ordered one starter dish, a salad for sharing and two entree's. Only one entree' dish came. The second person had to wait over 15 minutes to get dish. You may imagine our feeling ?

   The food was incredible! So much flavor and intentionality. It was well-worth the money. The service was also great. Our waiter recommended the steak, pork chop meal, and sangria and Renewal drinks. All of it paired well together. We would definitely go back. You can look to spend at least $60 on your meal, but it’s worth it if you’re looking for somewhere fancy to have a “treat yourself” night!

    The Library is an unexpected gem. We sat outside and had fantastic food with great company. We had the octopus and bread appetizers. Coconut curry with shrimp was Amazing! I’m still dreaming about that dish today. The other two in our party loved their meals also. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

    We were dinning out as a family of four during our March break trip to Florida. The place has kids menu and it includes really great options such as house made pasta and pizza. The place also serves great cocktails for adults and have some author cocktails that worth trying! The food was also top notch. We ordered roasted peach for appetizer, scallops and pork chop for our main dishes. Everything was really amazing and the food was just right! Overall great place and I would recommend it as date night or family dinning!

    We had a very good time. Reservations were simple to make, and it wasn’t overcrowded with other tourists. I couldn’t say enough about the presentation of the entrees, drinks, and desserts. I would highly recommend for anyone to visit. When I come back to St. Pete, this will be one of my must visits!

    Nice looking restaurant, however, they are very overpriced!! Not good value when one considers the quality of the food and service. Food flavor was average, and was not served warm or at the correct temperatures. Server was pleasant, but we had to ask for drink refills etc. Waited for server to respond many times. We would not recommend this restaurant or return. PS There are also challenges finding sufficient restaurant parking. Considering the comments noted above, and the need to search for adequate places to park, it's definitely not worth the effort!

    We went for our wedding anniversary and arrived early for our reservation so we grabbed drinks at the bar. The bartender was quick and attentive, got us drinks right away and without us having to wait to close our tab, recognized our table was ready and quickly closed us out. Our dining experience was fantastic. We ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer and it was all delicious. My husband ordered the filet mignon and I ordered the sea scallops. We did not leave a single bite on our plates. So so good. The staff are all very attentive without being overbearing and were all charismatic and really helped make the evening perfect. Would absolutely go here again.

    This restaurant is a hidden gem located in the children’s hospital. It’s beautiful. We sat outside and had heaters. The vegetarian options were delicious. We had the pear salad, green salad, mushroom pasta and curry rice dish. Our waiter was excellent. My only surprise was that they did not change the silverware. Normally, a restaurant of this level changes the silverware. But still a wonderful experience.

    Parking can be an issue which made us about 10 mins late for our reservation but the food and service more than made up for it. We had brunch and the scrambled eggs were the best I've ever eaten. We wil go back!

    This was our second time here for brunch and it was just as good as we remembered 3 years ago! We would probably be here every weekend if we lived in the area….I would love to try dinner there too. The ambiance is lively and fun, the service is great and the food is delicious. I had the smoked Gouda grits and I added shrimp and my husband had the mushroom, asparagus and ham omelet. We hope to move to St. Pete soon….then we can visit the library more often!

    I’ve lived in the Tampa area for about 5 years and have always heard great things about The Library. I FINALLY made my way there, and I have to say it was just as good as others have said! I went there for brunch and got an iced coffee with oat milk. They use Buddy Brew coffee beans, which are delicious. We also got the salmon dip and deviled eggs for appetizer. For entree, I got the Benedict. All the food was excellent. The ambience was very cool. I will be back!

    Service was horrible. We waited over an hour for our food and when we spoke to the manager he said to keep waiting. When it finally came, the scallops and grits were cold and my steak was raw. We again contacted the manager. He said he was sorry. As we finally got to eating, we wanted to order more wine but our server never came back to check on us. Finally, they offered a free dessert. We had been there 2 hours already and were ready to go. We quickly ate a dessert and waited even longer for coffee. I ordered a skim latte with sugar free vanilla. They didn’t even get that right. This is highly disappointing given we had a lovely experience last year here. With the plethora of options to dine in St. Pete, I do not recommend this one.

    A solid choice for fine dining in St. P. The location in the bottom of a Johns Hopkins building is unusual, but makes the parking and walk easier than if it were in the middle of shops & bustling streets. The interior is fun and lovely (books books books to pick up and thumb through), and service was prompt and efficient. I can’t rave… service felt a little perfunctory (not the kind of place you feel the owner, staff, and server is all that interested that you came), and the food was good but not remarkable or memorable (maybe because of volume?) — but we would probably return if in the area. We did note our anniversary on the reservation but no mention was made of this (why ask about special events on O.T. if it’s not going to be noted?)
