Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners. Amazing menu. We wanted to order one of the everything. Our waiter guided us towards some of his favorites, and everything was absolutely delicious. We have to go again to get all the stuff we wanted but didn’t order.

Mockingbird crushed it. Excellent service and very creative menu and food. We had a mix of appetizers and entrees. Their pasta dish (with sausage) was exceptional for a pasta dish. Other dishes we had were the short rib, burger which stood out. We had the brie mini sandwich appetizer which was outstanding. Just a flavor bomb of an appetizer. This was our first time and we had a group of 7. Service was exceptional. The ambiance is a shieky homey feel.

Our dinner at The Mockingbird was absolutely incredible! The food, service, and ambiance was top notch. It was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s 10th birthday! Everything we had was DELICIOUS and the manager even brought out a special donut dessert for our daughter! 110% recommend it!

The menu was very interesting with very unusual combinations. Liked the small and large plate combinations. For those less adventuresome, the hamburger looked excellent. Try the chef’s cake with apples, cheesecake… Loved every bite. Our server was also great, explaining the menu and very attentive service. Definitely would dine there again.

We came early because we have a six month old and a three year old. They made the cutest kid plate with Mac and cheese and fruit and a cookie etc on an old school lunch tray and it was not even on the menu. Thoughtful and just the touch we needed with a picky three year old. The adults were well fed and well cared for. Great craft cocktails and food with excellent ingredients and creative to boot. Can’t wait to return.

We were spoiled by a complimentary signature dish from the chef and a delicious dessert! Our server, Logan, was the perfect balance of scarce and always on hand when we needed them! The whole experience felt incredibly personal and also like we were being treated as VIPs! 10/10 would recommend again!

First time at the Mockingbird and was floored. Had the hangar steak and it was awesome. My group had other entrees and they were equally great. Service was first class and the bar drinks were just right. We live in the Gulch and we will be going back!

Very loud - hard to have a conversation. Service was poor - completely ignored our table whilst tending to another much larger table repeatedly. Failed to refill water or ask if we wanted more drinks or refills. Food was average overall - don’t bother with the doughnut there are far better to be had elsewhere, plantain hash was good, burger was average, fries were well seasoned, steak sandwich was okay. Nothing was a standout.

The menu was very limited. It leaned towards lunch not dinner house. I ordered the pasta, it was a very small dish, with no sides. It’s was just ok. Not what I expected from two well know chefs.

First visit was for dinner with another couple. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered several small plates to start. Started with the Punch bags! That’s a must! Grilled cheese incredible Burrata excellent The bratwurst corn dog….holy cow! Spinach artichoke dip…it was good…but would pass on it next time! Hanger Steak with potato latke….I’d eat it again today Tuna over pasta….looked delicious Chicken with chorizo gravy and potatoe…nice spicy dish- delicious The burger….was a big winner! We’ll def be back!

We truly enjoyed dinner at Mockingbird during a quick visit to Nashville. The mini Brie grilled cheese, Pork Belly lettuce wraps and burger were all fabulous. Our server Chris was fun and attentive and we enjoyed the relaxed chill vibes.

We arrived for our reservation, were seated promptly and had wonderful service. The food was delicious and well prepared. Would love to see a wider range of music, but everything else was perfect!
