   Very good and smooth experience since the day of making a reserving online, to reconfirming the reservation, to reserving certain dishes/tea-set for my booking. Very welcoming, helpful and attentive team at the restaurant!

   Nice ambience. Presentation was visually pleasing. Scones, savory finger food were average. Sweet desserts were nice. Selection of drinks was good, as expected. Attentive service. Overall not a satisfying meal though.

   We ordered afternoon tea set for two and another scone set. Food is as usual. I don’t expect too much but just an hour of relaxation in Peninsula. The service disappointed us. It was not because they were rude or impolite, but it’s their non welcoming service. Our booking was 13:30. We arrive 5minutes early and no one was ready to serve or gave us signal to wait for their shop to get ready or what. I felt like the staff was not happy because we disturbed their routines and starting to work 5minutes early? (we were the only customers in the afternoon) The whole time when we’re eating, we could hear very clearly the content the two staff talking in cafe. Perhaps because it was too quiet, we were the only customers. That’s ok if they could pay attention to us while keep talking. But they are so into their conversation and forget us. And I felt I was disturbing them, I felt so embarrassed to look at them for minutes without any response from them. I would even rather pay the bill before ice cream was served… The place is certainly not for value. Think twice before booking. It your feel ok to pay this amount and receive service just like local fast food restaurant/Cha Chaan Ten

   The desserts are always the best so I visited there once a month. Just want to mention the ice-cream could be better in shape, too soft for yesterday. Taste is always perfect!

    Except for a very young baby/child occasionally crying a couple of tables away from us, I cannot find any fault with The Peninsula Boutique and Cafe.

    A very cute place to stay for the afternoon, even though it was 90min sit in, but I think it was good with the amount of food they give! And it’s fair to everyone who wants to give it a try! The scones were a little on the hard side and the chocolate moose was WAY too heavy! But overall, a nice place to chill

    The service is very good! I'm impressed with the waitress who is willing to set up the table and take good photos for the guests. For the tea set, the sweet treats look good and taste good but the savoury treats can be improved. All are sandwiches and the bread is very dry.
