   We truly enjoyed our Dinner at the Prescott, the food was delicious and the atmosphere cozy and inviting . A good choice for a special occasion or just a nice meal out. We will certainly return!

   Excellent meal. The duck breast special was recommended by our excellent server and was terrific over risotto. My spouse enjoyed the overnight pot roast, and said the gravy was to die for! A very nice place with a wide variety of food choices.

   The menu was varied and offered promise. The wine glasses spotty. The wine was average. Bread a little stale and portion meager. The entrées were devoid of taste and dessert seemed pre made. Above all, the music, some sort of fusion of sound each song replete with 3 or 4 repetitive notes peppered by solo breaks which sounded like clumsy teens experimenting with instruments. I felt like I was in some bad dream where I was Noriega and the folks in the back were tormentors. Don’t let this get you down, keep improving.

    Very disappointing overall experience…started off nicely. Very quaint setting in downtown Kernersville with brick courtyard entry. Food started off with fresh bread with butter, honey & thyme, as well as, oil with spices served on the side and it was amazing. Cocktails were delicious too. Unfortunately that’s where the experience turned negative. Ordered our meal and waited OVER AN HOUR for it to be delivered. Didn’t get any explanation for the lengthy delay?? Tables around us did not appear to be having the same wait times?? Grouper was overcooked, served lukewarm and too salty. The seafood risotto was too salty as well. Struggled to get water refills, truly needed with the excessively salty food. Very disappointing food experience. We let the waitress know about the food preparation concerns. We were offered to have the dishes remade, to go. We declined as we couldn’t imagine how long that would take!! Waitress returned to say “the chef is offering you a discount and gift card for future visit”. I’ve heard wonderful things about The Prescott. Just not sure if I will try again?? Thankfully my dinner company was amazing.

    Food was decent, the bread for table and croutons for the lobster dip, was so hard we couldn't bite through it. Service was poor, sat there for 15 minutes with no one coming to table. Then once arrived, we maybe saw him twice only when we received food. Never asked how anything was. Salmon in the seafood risotto was raw. While walking out realized the health score was a 34.5 I was appalled. Looked up the report and it was mostly due to contamination and food preparation. Was not worth the money.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! The service was excellent and the restaurant itself was very classy, but with a casual, comfortable crowd. The area in downtown Kernersville was also really neat. I would definitely come back and highly recommend!

    The Prescott was a pleasant surprise find for us. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the food was amazing. We began with the shrimp appetizer and french onion soup that was followed by a cauliflower tempura caesar salad and our entre of seafood risotto and the filet and lobster. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be going back. Being able to go over to their banquet room after dinner to shag the night away was the icing on top of the cake. A wonderful Friday night date night was delivered by The Prescott. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    The only issue i had was we did not get seated until 30 or 40 minutes after my reservation. Not that big of a deal, my friends and I were enjoying each other's company, the bar has a very nice bourbon selection so it was fine . Staff was very apologetic. I suppose they either overbooked or were short on staffing.

    We really wanted to love The Prescott as it really is the perfect meeting spot for friends from Winston-Salem and Greensboro to meet up! It was a very busy Friday night and the servers really were doing the very best they could, but everyone on the staff was truly overwhelmed. We were seated well after our reservation time and we would have been fine with that had the food been exceptional. Unfortunately, it was not. We will give it another try though, but maybe not on a Friday night next time.

    My daughter chose The Prescott for her birthday dinner. There were seven of us for a 6:30 reservation on a busy Friday night. Our server was not very personable and didn't even tell my daughter Happy Birthday which I thought was a bit rude. Anyway, We started with the lobster dip. It's the best thing on their menu, delicious! We ordered our entrees and it took almost an hour to get five of them. Ten minutes later, the last two arrived. Nothing was hot so I'm thinking they sat in the window waiting for our server to bring them to our table. The food was very good with the salmon being the favorite. We were never given an apology or any offer of compensation. A free desert would have been appreciated and may have bumped this review to four stars. I've had a much better lunch experience here so may not go back for dinner and stick to lunch.

    I don't recommend this restaurant. The experience is not good value for the money. The staff is slow, disinterested, and inattentive. We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress, who appeared inconvenienced by having to wait on us. We were surprised to receive wrinkled and soiled reused paper menus, which did not seem befitting a restaurant which appears more upscale. Our food took over 30 mins. to arrive, which was surprising, as the restaurant did not seem very busy for a Saturday evening. The pizza was okay at best, and the halibut was fairly good, but overpriced. We will not be returning.

    The restaurant is very nice with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very pleasant and our waitress was great. The food was good and the chef was very accommodating by making a modification to my mother’s dish of the seafood and risotto. The only negative is that they should reprint new menus. They provided paper menus but they weren’t clean and a couple of them look like they should be recycled.

    The food was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I appreciated the selection of side items. Most places just throw fries at you at lunch. the Prescott offered a wide variety of choices, most without an annoying upcharge fee. This is not a place for a quick meal, but is ideal for dining out with some friends and enjoying a few drinks.

    Always an excellent dining experience. We went for our anniversary and had a great time. Dined alfresco with great live music playing in the courtyard. Met the owner, who was very personable and friendly. Service was great and food was exceptional. Worth the drive from anywhere in the Triad area or beyond.

    The food at the Prescott is really terrific. We had bruschetta and the grouper and chicken pasta dishes. Everything was excellent. Some slight tune-ups on things like having clean menus would make it an even nicer experience.

    Everything was absolutely fantastic. food quality was great. atmosphere was great. all of it was wonderful. The only complaint that I have Is the knives do not cut well Not good quality knifes in my opinion

    Found this little gem of a place online and read the glowing reviews. I was In town for business and love checking out non-chain establishments. It will sound contrived; but, I seriously never write reviews. From start to finish, The Prescott is a class act. We were greeted immediately and our server (I wish I could recall his name) was amazing and knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor, get the Honeybee Martini (it does not disappoint)! Hope I get the chance to visit again. Wonderful food and service! Top Notch!!
