The Verandah is a celebrated restaurant that brings you a faultless combination of heavenly traditional Continental cuisine, blended with innovation, fine wines and discreet,attentive service,in a classic yet relaxing setting in true Peninsula style. The Verandah re-opened following a six-month-long extensive restoration and refurbishment of its interiors and kitchens on August 2009. It maintains the relaxed and spacious atmosphere of the original Repulse Bay Hotel but with a Grand Hall to create a more spacious and welcoming arrival experience and a revitalised interior. A new Grand Staircase provides stylish and convenient passage from the restaurant to the Palm Court and the retail arcade. Regulars can rest assured that The Verandah's celebrated signature dishes - and its traditional English Afternoon Tea and Sunday Brunch - remain on its bill of fare.

    It was a very pleasant dining experience in a classic environment. Food and service were excellent. Main course was outstanding. Only one thing can be better is the dessert.

    A waitress was a little bit clumsy when placing the dish and her cuff touched the food.

    Had afternoon tea set for 2. Nice selection of pastry. More than enough for 2. Quiet and comfortable. Servers are prompt. However Chinaware is too old and tarnished. Want to visit again.

    I took my mum and my aunt here and we had a relaxing afternoon tea experience. The ambiance is excellent and the food was perfect. Loved the payed back atmosphere while maintaining class and elegance. Will def come back !

    Delighted to have been given a window seat Great view and an impressive range of starters and desserts. Only improvement would have been some petits fours or chocolates with the coffee.

    Continues to be an institution. May, 2018 Sunday Brunch was excellent. The buffet part was varied, well presented, and delicious. The entrees were small and not up to the restaurant's normal level. The overall service and ambiance is still the best Sunday location in Hong Kong.

    This could be a charming place for lunch. Unfortunately, the dining room is kept at a freezing level temperature, which makes it uncomfortable and unpleasant, to truly appreciate a meal. Also, the taxi dropped us off, in an underground parking lot, in the back of the shopping center. So we ended up entering the restaurant from the back side. This basically defeats the purpose of going all the way to this heritage house, if we completely miss out, on the colonial architecture of the facade, upon arrival...
