The Weld Arms is a 17th century coaching Inn, nestled in the picturesque village of East Lulworth, Dorset, situated a short stroll from the famous Lulworth Castle and 5 minutes drive from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

Fully renovating the bar and restaurant with a fresh look, new menu and extended drinks list.

Our priority is to create a family friendly, welcoming and pleasantly relaxed environment. Whether you choose to have a local cider by the open fire, or a freshly made dish from our new menu.

Our philosophy is to champion local and sustainable produce, concentrating on the seasons and clean flavours.

It’s always a great place to go and eat. Fantastic staff, always polite, the Sunday roast was excellent, a generous portion of food. We shall continue to go back as it’s so good

Great venue to bring friends for dinner. Food fresh and well presented . Wobbly table could be addressed.

Our visit was a bit of disaster, we were tired and just wanted to eat in peace, we were sat right next to a door that kept being open to the yard while it was very cold outside, there were empty tables in another room but we assumed they were reserved and were too tired to ask to be moved and the staff never offered, we ordered burgers to get something quick but ended up waiting a whole hour for them to be served and the kid’s burger ended up made incorrectly - they fixed it quickly when pointed out to be fair. There was live music blasting from the yard. We booked the table ahead of time but it felt like they were completely unprepared for us to show up.

Table was ready and waiting. Taste and quality of food (Sunday Roast) was excellent but feel it could have been hotter. Service, friendliness of staff was really good. Our first time but won’t be our last.
