   Love this restaurants food, vibe and ambiance! Rock shrimp risotto was divine, gelato so yummy and sangria is on point. One of my fav spots in Hyde Park.

   My Kale Cesar salad had huge croutons that were so hard that I could not eat. The waitress offered to bring fresh soft bread. We were almost finishing our meal when she brought 2 slices of cold , dry,hard bread and with no butter or anything else to spread on the it. It seemed like she just took 2 slices of bread that were leftover from another day put in a plate and just brought to us! Didn't even asked us if it was better! That was my last time to go to Timpano!

   We came in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon at 1pm. Timpano did not disappoint!! DJ was inside playing some amazing music! Staff was on point and the food was spectacular!!

   We had a great time! The donuts were the best! We had two appetizers, the Parm table pasta, and donuts. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio was outstanding!

   We have eaten here many times, and usually had outstanding meals. This time was different. The food was very poor, with the octopus starter being completely inedible and the rest of the food all being overcoat. Hopefully this is a one off.

    I used to eat at this restaurant often before they remodeled. And I admit I was a bit skeptical about visiting after the remodeling, worried that it would be too modern and not have the same Italian charm...but I was wrong. We sat outside (which I think might be a little quieter than inside) and everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was great. We missed out on dessert, but I need to go back to try their dessert donuts!

    My appetizer and entree were good. Dessert donuts did not taste fresh. The decor was excellent and a great place overall for social media pictures.

    Terrible lunch experience. Service was slow despite us being one of only 4-5 tables sat. My salad was terrible. One of my fellow guests ordered a cranberry juice and they brought a fancy sherry glass. Very strange.

    Very yummy and a cute spot for a date night! The drinks were amazing! Had my first espresso martini for the first time delicious. The rib eye was so tender and like butter. The pasta experience was great but so much pasta! I do wish they would’ve remembered our anniversary since I added that to our reservation. Would for sure be back!

    Way overpriced for pasta we had and quality of shrimp risotto and cacio de pepe was good. Risotto overcooked and one note cheese flavor. Meatball app is very good. Calamari is good. Way too noisy! Couple making out in booth was off putting. Service staff is very good.

    Ambiance is different than it use to be but in a good way. We went for brunch and the vibe was great but food lacking just a little. We might try dinner to give the evening vibe a try.

    I had such a positive experience, the receptionist was very friendly and prompt with seating, my waiter was attentive and prompt. I ordered the steak and eggs for my brunch experience, the steak was a bit salty unfortunately and I had it sent back, the manager Lindsey was so apologetic and really took care of me. She made sure that my steak was redone promptly and made sure that I enjoyed my dining experience throughout the rest of my time being there. The ambiance was lively, but still intimate enough to dine with friends or family. Noise level was a little moderate, but not problematic. Food was delicious, especially once corrected, over all it was a great experience and I will be returning again.

    Great food and atmosphere! Loved the dj during brunch. Service was great at first but then forget part of our order and took forever to give us our check- waited over 15 minutes for him to check on us at the end of the meal.

    Atmosphere 🎯🎯🎯 Caesar was great, so was the fish (maybe a tilapia? Cooked in lemon butter with capers). Linguine in clam sauce was too salty but the waitress was super apologetic and took care of us as you would hope and expect. Much appreciated. Would def recommend.

    Went for brunch and ordered 2 kinds of Benedict’s. Both came with overcooked eggs (yolk was like a hard boiled egg). When we told the server she said the cook would make us some new “undercooked” eggs. I don’t want undercooked, I want properly poached eggs. Even minus the egg problem, the food was bland and flavorless. Even the breakfast potatoes had zero flavor. Very disappointing.

    I can’t love this place any more! Food is excellent. Our waiter was fabulous. The music and ambiance! We always have a good time. They do have a DJ on weekends so it’s pretty loud. Not sure about weeknights.

    We were a party of 5 and not one of us liked the food. Our waitstaff was cordial and provided good service. Must be tough for them having to serve one of the most unremarkable dishes I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Timpano. We started with tuna tartare, arancini, salmon and iceberg salad. Everyone enjoyed their appetizer. Then we had the veal chop parmigiana, shrimp risotto and tuna. Again, we were delighted with the food. The ambiance was nice however the music was too loud and we had a hard time hearing each other. There were also too many pillows at the booth. No one was using them and they ended up piled high next to me. Our waiter Sam was incredible! He was friendly yet professional and very attentive. We had an excellent evening. I highly recommend giving Timpano a try.

    Lots of crunch in my oysters(shell?) Bad mocktail. Tasted like grenadine and club soda. Cold meatballs. Parm to table is just $50 butter noodles. Very underwhelming overall. Not worth $200
