Trattoria Emilia is an authentic Italian restaurant focusing on seasonal produce and fresh pasta. Head chefs Francesco Rota and Luca Flammia hail from Modena in Emilia Romagna.

At Trattoria Emilia we seasonally change the menu and source a large majority of our produce from regional Victoria, our meat is organic and sustainably grown in Tasmania and Victoria and we import some of the best Italian DOC products. Some dishes that are not to be missed are our Tortelloni Emiliani and the crowd favourite salumi misti with gnocco fritto and tigelle served with mortadella mousse.

    Food was amazing, and the environment and service are very warm and comfy. It’s mixed with Italian traditional style with fusion Italian food. We did enjoy it and love to return again.

    What a hidden gem-the staff were professional but friendly, the food is amazing and a the atmosphere was relaxed. Wen for a work dinner and it was perfect-very authentic menu, delicious food and great wine. Would def recommend, it has a great vibe

    We ordered the chef's set menu. But after the pasta, the waiter brought us another pasta without telling us that this pasta would be the main course. We were still looking forward to the main course, but when we realized that dessert was about to be served, we pointed out to the waiter that this arrangement was unreasonable. The waiter said he could give us another entree, but he looked visibly unhappy. When we paid the bill, we were charged extra for the second pasta dish. Although the restaurant tastes good, as guests, we should not pay for the chef's mistakes!

    We had the chefs selection which includes 5 courses with dessert from their impressive menu. Something different & classic from Emilia Romagna. Five star offerings throughout. Service outstanding with full commentary on each course and tips for full enjoyment. The bar: excellent classic Negroni, elderflower based mocktail, sangiovesefrom Emiliaand a lovely classic espresso martini....all excellent mixes. Perfect lunch. Regards Graeme & Bruna

    The food at Emilia was nothing short of divine - we had a degustation menu and were delighted with every course. The staff were knowledgeable and engaging and the team easily accommodated a member of our party with a severe allergy. The venue itself is pretty noisy when full but that does create a good buzz. Thoroughly enjoyed Emilia and will be back.

    Had an enjoyable mid week business lunch at Emelia's after a recommendation and was not disappointed. From the attentive staff to the delicious food we were well looked after the whole way. The tiramisu desert was the highlight. Do die for.

    Food very delicious and service couldn't have e been more helpful. Emilio has real dare I say authentic character but can be noisy due to the plain but interesting decor- the food is the real focus. I'd have no hesitation recommending Emilia's .

    We really enjoined the food. All was fresh, exactly right cooked. Great Italien food. High quality qua ingredients and taste. Simple bit with a lot of depth. It feels Like a real evening out, great ambience. Lots of Happy people. Really friendly. If you like good italien food I would suggest to go and tru for yourself

    We always enjoy our visits to Trattoria Emilia. From the moment you walk in the door and received the friendly welcome to attentive service throughout the meal, the extensive wine list and of course the amazing food. We picked the 3 course dinner off the menu and added a few extra. The appetisers to deserts were exceptional and the real reason we will keep mocking back. Keep up the good work team!

    After our daughter recommended to eat here we went with high expectations and we wernt disappointed. We ordered the 5 course meal and found every course delicious.The waiters were all amazingly nice and we also received a free drink at the end of the night for my wife's birthday. We highly recommend it as once again the food tasted delicious and fresh

    Was a wonderful experience, the braised lamb on a bed of mashed potato with lamb jus was really special. The service was exceptional, we had Sofia and she made the experience far more pleasurable and made us feel at home. Thanking U 🙏🏽

    The restaurant had a lovely ambience. There were authentic Italians serving the tables. They were friendly and interacted with us and genuinely looked like they loved their job. My husband and I chose a lovely place to celebrate our wedding anniversary

    First time at this restaurant - the service was wonderful right from the start. 3 of us all ordered different entrees and mains and we all loved our meals. I had the duck it was beautiful, my friends had the fish and ravioli and they loved their meals as well. The Italian Prosecco I had was also beautiful! While the mains seem a little expensive, I have to say the servings were value for money, so in the end the price didn't even worry us. A great lunch and I can't wait to go back with my husband.
