   We loved Trestle! The dinning room is cosy and welcoming, it's not too loud and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, every single dish was outstanding.

   Service and people: 10/10 Everyone was amazingly accommodating and knowledgeable Vibe: 10/10 Beautifully designed, love the North Beach neighborhood, lively small space Wine selection: 10/10 Easy to explore and find something you like Food: 5/10 I would have rated it lower but I know that they offer prix fixe at a *reasonable for San Francisco* price. But when a place offers a fine dining prix fixe menu, the devil is in the details. The first course was a Thai-inspired wedge salad with pork belly. The wedge was completely raw cabbage. It was hard to eat and everything except the pork belly was lacking. Seconds was a small pancetta tortellini veg soup, the broth was great but the tortellini was way undercooked and the filling offered little in terms of flavor. Next was cheesy, saffron risotto. Meh. It was cheesy...soooo, fine. The risotto was a bit over but whatevs. Last was pork loin and asparagus spears. The asparagus was good, pork was under in the very middle and the pecan mole it sat on just smelled and tasted like refried beans.

   I went to Trestle as part of a special experience with Cline. I was wholly unimpressed with the tasting menu. The menu felt as if the chef had a limited budget and chose dishes to fit the budget instead of actually pairing the dishes with the wine. The dishes came out of the kitchen too quickly as if the food was prepared far in advance and then put on the plate. Every dish was unimaginative, lukewarm, and bland. I would not go back for their regular fare.

   Trestle has gone above and beyond today's restaurant tide to provide stellar management, service and above all food for unbelievable value! The team at Trestle sincerely cares about the response to the food offerings, they are transparent about operations ( tab inclusive of tax and tip, Guest seating timing and even an up to date on line menu -( their menu changes regularly) Among the 4 of us we were able to sample all of the evenings offerings and agreed that food was stellar &well done, Wine offerings were great and service perfect. Perhaps best of all the accolades is the amazing maintenance of their price point for the prix fixe menu even in today's climate.

    Be aware of price fix! Food good. They need to address their noise level though!! It was the volume of a busy bar, with clientele to match-average age of 34. We being the over 60 oldsters will not return solely due to the noise level.

    The food at Trestle and the value is always pleasing. We truly enjoyed the risotto, the starter of salmon, crème fresh and potato. It was fun to share. The staff made our anniversary visit a lovely night.

    Went for birthday dinner (along with 6 other separate birthday celebrations in the restaurant). Obviously a nice place for celebrating. Table was ready on time (Fri, 7pm). Food and service were excellent. This was our first visit and we plan to visit again.

    Every time I go to Trestle I am excited to try everything they have that night and know that it will always be excellent. It’s difficult to recommend any particular dish since the menu always changes, but basically try everything! It’s all good. Really good ice cream flavors. The only thing I wasn’t in love with was the wine I selected, but it was a risky choice so now I know for next time. Excellent service, very nice staff. Nice ambiance. I’ll be back often.

    Amazing food, vibe and excellence service. Cannot believe the price for what you get at this restaurant - I would have thought it would be way more expensive. What a great value! So fun how the menu changes each week. Wish more places like this existed. Will absolutely come back! Recommend 100%

    Service was astute, and the food was amazing. Visited trestle for an anniversary and was accommodated with a quiet booth in the corner which was very much appreciated. Will definitely be back for another tasting !

    So glad that they are back home in their original location. The atmosphere was cozy, but a little noisy. The food and service were terrific. The value of the meal including the wine was great.

    The food was delicious, the wait staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the food and wine and we had a lovely experience. The only issue was when they ask for if we have any food allergies they should include allergies to animals as party was seated next to us with a dog. Not all diners enjoy animals sitting next to them at dinner due to allergies and for experience purposes. If you are going to let someone bring an animal to dine at the restaurant I would have them sit next to the door and ask the people dining near the animal if they are allergic.

    Had some last minute additions to our reservations and the restaurant was very accommodating! (Sorry about that and thank you!) The food was delicious and a great value. Since there are only two options for each course I did feel I made the wrong decision when my friend's food came out. I am excited for the next menu change.

    What a great experience dining at Trestle recently. I love the operating model having a pre-fixed menu making it easier to choose and dine. I did feel slightly rushed for a party of two. We definitely didn't spend the full 90 min there. Nonetheless the food was delicious and though some dishes were seemingly small, it was just the right amount overall with adding the pasta dish as an option. I was stuffed afterwards. Great wine selection as well. The ambience was really nice and though the place seems small, it's just the right space for an intimate experience.

    Made reservations to try Trestle based on glowing reviews and Bib Gourmand status. Kind of disappointing based on both. Good value and Bib Gourmand status is debatable. Arrived and not even a greeting from host who had his back to patrons waiting to be checked in at door as he was busy on the phone. I found this to be an oddity, again due to expectations set by reviews by others and Michelin. Host was terribly unfriendly, definitely did not give us a feeling of being a valued patron. Waiter did not introduce himself but rather asked if we had visited previously, gave us a breakdown of the way their prix fixe worked, and took our drink orders. Again, hardly making us feel welcome. $42 prix fixe with 3 courses and an optional pasta course for added $12. Hardly a value when the food arrived. Meager portions. Nothing really memorable even within 24hrs of dining! Perhaps our expectations were set too high. We did do our research on the Hi Neighbor group and their mantra of service was totally lacking. We certainly will not be revisiting and could not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for service let alone good food...sorely disappointed again in Trestle as well as Michelin.
