TWO urban licks
GREAT service by " The Twin".......Front end Ladies were great too!!
Have to be careful where you sit. The sun is fierce on certain positions of seating. We were not the only ones who had to move. Other than the burning heat of the sun, all was well & all else was enjoyed. Great celebration!
Having good previous experiences here, I chose this spot for dinner on 4/21 (party of 2). Our reservation was for 730PM. We were seated upon arrival. However, it took over fifteen minutes and a request to the hostess stand to receive water. It then took an additional fifteen minutes until we were greeted by our serer. He took our drink orders and food requests at that time. Excluding water, it was over 50 minutes from arrival until we received our drinks and appetizer. The food and drinks were tasty as expected, but the service was abysmal. I wish it was as good as I remembered!
The host stand is the first place we went once we valet parked the car . There were no smiles , there was however a luke warm hello and the name of your reservation . We were walked to a tiny table for two . The server though nice wasn’t very attentive. Several times we were looking for our server for the bill , when we were ready to order . Back to valet parking , I get it your job is to valet , does that negate providing customer service . I worked in the restaurant industry for years , however the rudeness was just simply uncalled for .
Easter outting for dinner with a friend.
Waited over an hour for meal....only 1 adult and 2 kids meals. They told me outdoor seating was another half hour even though I had a reservation, when I left there is more seating available outside than inside. Horrible experience
Given how long this restaurant has been open- they should be better equipped to handle a busy brunch service. Also, the food preparation was clearly rushed. Sloppy plate, and over salted food.
Went on Easter Sunday so very busy, management did a great job of assuring us we weren’t forgotten about. Great environment
Have never had a bad experience Dining at Two urban Licks! They always amaze Me !
Loved our server dewayne. Attentive and super friendly especially to the kids. Kind of long wait for entrees but worth it. Delicious food.
The service was incredibly so my reservation was for 1230 and my food did not come out until about 1:40
We waited a while for our food but, the waiter kept us posted and recognized the kitchen was behind. The atmosphere was good and we weren’t in a hurry so, it wasn’t a problem. Our waiter, Dan, was great!!
Firstly I booked for Easter Sunday Brunch and when we arrived they told me I had booked for the following week which wasn't the case as I had the confirmation on my phone, we had the correct date. They did accommodate us though. It's a nice atmosphere, however the band was extremely loud for Sunday brunch. You could barely hear yourself let alone have a conversation with someone. We had our 2 young boys with us and it was way too loud. My husband asked if we could be seated elsewhere quieter but we were told it was just as loud everywhere else. They did ask the band to turn it down a little which they did but after they came back from their break later on, music was up and loud again, thankfully by then we were ready to go. The food was ok, We ordered eggs benedict; when it arrived one egg was already broken. it wasn't bad but not great. Yoghurt granola was nice and the kids loved the pancakes. Overall average, could be better.
Food is always excellent!
Very vibrant, enjoyable atmosphere. Great time! I’m 6’5” 280lbs so I didn’t enjoy the lightweight chair at the very small table
Great dinning dining experience. Although the noise level was high, I believe it is part of their "fabric ". I will return time and time again.
Inventive menu, location is in an edgy and eclectic area, friendly waitstaff, and the restaurant is a beautifully rehabbed Warehouse. The spectacular painting by artist Todd Murphy is a must see. Food is delicious. Valet service is recommended.
One of our favorite locations in the greater Atlanta area. Apps came fast. All of the wait staff, front desk team were great. We had three different team members wait on our table, and all were very friendly and engaging. Salmon Chips are a must. The bread and creamy cheese mix was amazing. The brisket portion and flavors were beyond expectations. We had the scallops and shrimp plates and shared them. Perfect for two after the apps and bread. The coconut cake was very tasty and a very large piece was also shared by three people. We also elected to have the 3 scoops of ice cream. Salty caramel, Vanilla and Passion fruit ended our wonderful dinner with an exclamation point. Two Licks is a bit on the loud side, but it really adds to the energy and fun.
Family in town
Really good food. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it. Definitely going to go again
Worst service I’ve had in 8 years of dining here. Waiter was absent the entire night, had to ask server at near by table to assist. Valet got our car and we sat waiting as two other valets backed cars up the exit ramp. Management needs to get a grip of these kids
We celebrated our anniversary at two Urban licks. Had a great time. Forgot my server's name but he was great.
Very noisy and the food took forever!
My wife and I go to Two Urban Licks for special occasions. It was our first date, so it holds a special place in our hearts. However, we took my parents their for my Birthday dinner and were sadly disappointed. We got there for the New York Strip because it is amazing. The server took an hour to take our dinner order from the time we sat down. We ordered the New York Strip once he finally took our order and come to find out, y'all had ran out of the New York at 7:30 on a Sunday evening. How a 5-star restaurants runs out of steak blows my mind and to top it off our server stated that y'all only started with 30 New Strips at the beginning of the evening shift. With the volume that y'all have, I find it hard to believe that your restaurant would only start the night off with 30 New York Strips.
Our server started off great, but then went downhill QUICK. My step-mom is allergic to gluten and he did a fantastic job of showing her what she could and couldn't have on the menu and how she could substitute items. Sadly, he stopped checking on us less and less. Like I previously stated, it took him an HOUR to take our order from the time we sat down to the time we ordered. Sad to say that we were very disappointed and honestly embarrassed that we raved about Two Urban Licks to my parents just for it to be a huge disappointment.
Most of the food pictures advertised are not on the menu, the waiter was very arrogant and provided terrible service...did I mention the service was terrible they did provide plenty of flavorless food overall Two Urban Licks is Two Thumbs Down.
Using Open Table allowed me to schedule way ahead of time and helped me plan on short notice.
The hostess opened the reservation and we waited about 10min. TWO is consistent always been a good atmosphere with good food.
Visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner and the energy was electric. Our waiter, Dwayne, was attentive but not overbearing. We went on a busy Saturday night but, When our food arrived it was hot and fresh. The wine selection at the restaurant is not vast, but the wine offered are good. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the near future.
The music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. When arriving the hostess could not find our reservation which was annoying but I think it is because she could not hear us. Server was sketchy and hardly around. Food was decent. Mac and Cheese is so good. The collard greens were yuck too sweet. Drinks were good. Service for entree was long.
Two urban licks never disappoints. The empanads are delicious and should be made into an entree. Our entrees were cooked and seasoned perfectly. If you enjoy a cheesy mac & cheese, they have one worth trying.
The pork belly is delicious! Nichole was a great waitress and the atmosphere was fantastic, right on the beltline.
Our server John was excellent and the food was as well.
I love this restaurant. I had an amazing server as well. Great food and great atmosphere.
Everything was great until we got our bill and realized our server priced us for the wrong wine and she knew it but didn’t say anything. Instead of paying $35 we ended up paying almost $70 for wine. It took me going to find a manager to figure out what was going to be done. Two managers came over and one was very kind and the other one was on his high horse. He informed me since our card was run already he couldn’t give me back my money, but little does he know my husband is a area Director for restaurants and this is not true...he just didn’t want to have that loss at the end of the night especially on alcohol. He did however give us $30 is comp cards but it states only one can be used per table...well I guess that will be another conversation when the time comes. Maybe we will just give them to someone since we are so disappointed. I have celebrated my birthday here for almost 9 years and every year it keeps getting worse. The quality is just lacking now.
I have been coming to Two Urban Licks for nearly 15 years. I used to live next door and now I live nearly an hour away, and still come as often as I can. This is a great place to bring out of town guests or first dates. I gave 4 stars only because I’ve noticed that the quality in some of the menu items are a bit different. I come for brunch and the biscuits were tasteless and the chicken and waffle meal looked like a child’s serving. A half of a waffle?? -_- come on...
BUT other than that. I truly love this place. I recently came with my dog after walking the belt line. And the staff was extremely accommodating and sweet to my dog. I’m not a fan of bringing dogs around restaurants, so this was an exception, and I don’t regret my decision. Food did not disappoint!!
An amazing brunch.
Brian was our server on the patio and was fantastic! His knowledge speaks volumes for how much he cares. He guided us through the menu and took us on a culinary journey to try things we normally wouldn’t have tried. Brian is an exceptional piece of what appears to be a very well oiled machine of a restaurant.
Awesome atmosphere - live blues in the background, cool design, happy people - and great food. Lots of small plates to share as well as some great entrees. I had the duck breast which was delicious (salsa verde with it was so tasty and a surprising spicy complement to the savory duck. Our waitress was wonderful. Very upbeat, attentive but not the least bit annoying, very helpful with the menu. Great night!
Loved the outdoor seating and live music. Awesome bar seating. Very loud, though.
menu changes too often and I can get the'same thing' that I got last time.
