Great date spot with drinks, hot chocolate, and s'mores
Great drinks! However the Buffalo chicken dip tasted like tuna… recommend just sticking to drinks. I’ve ordered food a previous time as well and it was super subpar. Just tomatoes and mozzarella.
Gave us a free birthday shooter!
The food was just okay but the ambiance and presentation was everything
Urban Roast was the perfect atmosphere for a much needed and well deserved girls brunch. Looking forward to seeing the next seasonal decor is!
The funniest g area was small with a lot of seating which made it a little congested. Also bring so close meant the room was fairly loud with other people’s conversation. We heard that gnats were a problem before and we can confirm that that’s true. The food and drinks were overall pretty good and it seemed like the host and the waitresses were very attentive. My girlfriend’s first drink was too strong for her and the manager glad came out and let us replace it.
Great setting, good vibes l, great drink however food was absolutely the worst ! Not hot and so basic , honestly worst food from a restaurant and Ir was my sons birthday & we actually got McDonald’s Uber eats once we returned home. I felt bad because it was his birthday and I have the receipt!
Ambiance was amazing. The food was horrible. Everything tasted old and reheated despite the fact that we were their only clients. Left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. Bummer. Highly recommend to get there. Snap a quick picture and go eat elsewhere.
Great service and wonderful drinks!
Loved the food and ambience and I had a great time!
Nice place to go for decor and atmosphere. However, the food is grossly overpriced for the quality. They excel at charcuterie boards but fall short with cooked food. Our waiter Karen was a sweetheart and very attentive.
The decorations are amazing. Great outdoor seating options. Caprese sandwich and chips were meh. Lattes were very yummy. Service was pretty good.
We selected this place because of its close proximity to the Capital One Arena and the fact that we were able to get a reservation on relatively short notice (probably should have been a red flag). My wife's dirty martini was gross. When she mentioned this to the waitress, her response was, "yeah, I've heard complaints about that one." Okay, maybe teach the bartender how to make a good one. We ordered a charcuterie board and it came with no explanation of the cheeses and meats and no crackers or bread. The cheeses were ok, but nothing special. The empanadas we ordered were pretty good and I suggest if you go there, order those and a bottled beer and then be on your way. The lasagna was just decent. Our other guests had the lobster ravioli and it was also just ok. Overall, this is not a terrible place to grab a quick bite before a game, but I wouldn't expect to have a great dining experience.
The food was good, the decor was adorable, but the service was really slow and the music was far too loud
Great New Years Eve dinner. Extensive drink menu.
service was not great. the food was over priced.
We ate outside and there was a very limited eating space. Had to balance drinks and food all on a very slim edge piece of table. Menu is pretty limited but what we ordered was pretty yummy! Had the shrimp ceviche and the spinach artichoke dip with a couple mojitos
Super cute spot with a very fun and unique concept!
The ambiance was really fun and very well decorated. Cocktails were great! Service was a little slow and the food was nothing to write home about but would bring friends there again for drinks and good Christmas atmosphere!
Amzing, amazing, amazing! The food, the drinks, the decorations-we loved it.
My girlfriend and I had a 5pm reservation at Urban Roast—things started out poorly when we waited ~30 minutes for a server. She actually came over and asked if we’d been helped yet, as if we’d just been forgotten about and nobody was planning on coming over to serve us. Initially we had planned on a quick appetizer, drinks, and the s’mores, but we ended up there much longer than intended because of how slow the service was. What was also frustrating was that two managers stood talking for about 20 minutes literally a couple feet from our table, but neither noticed that we hadn’t been served. I can fully understand staffing shortages and slowness during this difficult time, but the fact that managers were just standing around chatting without helping their staff was disappointing.
When we did get our food, it was great—the vegan board was a good amount of food and had a great selection, and the empanadas were delicious. Drinks were even better, and I highly recommend the hot chocolate. The s’mores were good, but were a little pricey at $9 for 2 graham crackers, 2 marshmallows, and half a Hershey’s bar; none of the ingredients were anything special. The fire was a fun idea and worked for the s’mores, but sharing appetizers was difficult as the fire is a bit big and there’s not a lot of table space. I would stick to s’mores and drinks here—if they had more that the fire could be used for that would be great.
Overall, it was just okay. Too pricey for the experience we had, but the food and drinks were good.
The ambiance was very nice and the experience was an 8 out of 10. I would love to have had more food options on the menu. The drinks were amazing, especially the Seasonal (Holiday) options. Also, the servers could use some improvement... our waiter was not present and when he was (finally), he rushed us. Outside of that, I wouldn't mind visiting again.
Cute ambiance loved the empanada board, I wish there would’ve been slightly more table space w the fire pit table, because since there was a little wind we had to be VERY careful where things were on the table so they didn’t go up in flames. Great food and service though would definitely go again
Service here is notoriously known for being abysmal. I’ve been 5 times at different times of the year and each time it’s the same story. Get seated, wait 20 mins to be acknowledged by server, drinks take awhile, then nobody checks on you until you call their attention. Good luck getting your check.. always tracking down your server.
The seasonal ambiance/decorations and creative drink menu is what keeps people flocking here. Food is subpar. Keep expectations low and if you’re there for fun photos, you won’t be too disappointed, but not a good date night or dinner spot.
Worst service ever, got served drinks and appetizers and the waitress never came back even after we requested. Then they tried to serve us AFTER we complained and closed the tab. Would not recommend, waste of time and money.
We booked a standard table but changed our mind at the gate requesting for a table outside and were accommodated happily. Love the foods and service was very good. Love the fire at the table too.
Great Christmas decorations. Decent service. Terrible food.
We love this place and how they decorate the place! We definitely will return and looking forward to the next event.
My husband and I came due to an Instagram post we saw, and Urban Roast did not disappoint! The Christmas decorations were perfect.
The hot chocolate flight was what dreams are made of, and we highly recommend!
The food was lacking but the drinks were great!
Great food and drinks! Great service! A little loud.
Very cute, especially with the holiday decorations. Fun seasonal drinks, and decent menu. Other than server's, I was the only person with a mask on, which is concerning as it is a smaller venue. Enjoyed my visit and will go again perhaps when not so busy.
The hot cocktails were cold and the service was awful. There are definitely better places to get Christmas cocktails in the city!
The charcuterie board that was sent out was anemic. It only had a few pieces of meat and a few cubes of cheese that looked like that were purchased in the deli section of a grocery store. No fig preserves, no variety of cheeses and only 2 kinds of meat. This was not a restaurant quality charcuterie board and not what is pictured on your website. We raised this as an issue and the kitchen sent out the same cubes of cheese and more meat. That plate had a very small amount of prosciutto. Why wasn’t that on the original plate? And instead of fig preserves, there was some type of orange marmalade sent out on the second plate. ?? The cocktails were either too sweet or just not good, and the lobster ravioli - the pasta was over cooked and there was more cheese sauce than anything else, barely any lobster. The server was very good though. She did her best with what she had.
We sat outside at a fire pit and really enjoyed it! The food was good, hot chocolate flight was good and the s’mores were great. We would go back!
Great experience both times I have been however the service could definitely be better as it was very hard to track down our waiter. Get the s’mores!
Ordered 3 different glasses of wine…were out of all 3. Music like club music way too loud during dinner hour.
The service was below average, food is aiii, not worth it as an Instagramable spot because the Christmas decoration is just just ok (looked cheap)
Food was stale and old. The Christmas decorations were absolutely adorable. Soooo food not good, ambiance check plus.
Service was terrible
