    Great experience all around: drinks, food, service, vibe. A dish like their crispy sushi (highly recommend) takes a fairly well known flavor profile (spicy ahi tuna sushi) and elevates it to something above and beyond the ordinary. We found that consistently throughout our meal: little twists that made it both extra delicious and memorable. Service was equally impeccable: neither pretentious nor too familiar; everyone was just warm yet professional and seemed genuine in wanting us to have a great experience. Whether a splurge for a special occasion or just out for a good dinner, I highly recommend as a contemporary and deserving alternative to the many steakhouses trapped in another era… we’ll certainly be back.

    I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we LOVED it !!! Definitely a hidden gem and one that I would recommend to everyone I know. The food was phenomenal!! The steak was perfectly cooked and I don't even like medium steak but I downed it to the bone. The warmed ricotta and truffle mac and cheese were so so good, it was all delicious !!! The service could not have been better as everyone was so nice and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back <3

    Service was outstanding!! Attentive manager, on point server, didn't have to wait over 30 seconds if we wanted/needed anything. My only complaint was that for a medium rare steak, it was a bit too charred and not salted. The wedge salad was really good, the mac and cheese was also a favorite. LOVED the Vinyl Martini too. Will definitely recommend this place and go back!

    The meal was delicious and very attentive service. Split our salad for us and sliced our steak. Delicious creamed spinach and cajun ribeye and wedge salad. But the music was WAY too loud!! A Prince retrospective was playing when we walked in which was ok although a bit too lively for a restaurant. When Led Zepplin album started blaring, I couldn’t wait to leave. It just doesn’t need to be that loud!!

    Can honestly state Vinyl Steakhouse has been added to the list of must go restaurants in New York. Having been born & raised in NY I’m rarely surprised by restaurants but Vinyl Steakhouse did bring a genuine smile on my face. Haven’t had a meal/steak before that made me already plan when I could return while enjoying it. Additionally the cocktails were perfectly balanced as well as added to the meal. Excited to return as well as try the entirety of the menu with friends/family. Also don’t want to forget the Vinyl aspect of Vinyl Steakhouse, which was a welcomed addition. There is something about the warm tones of vinyl that compliment a steakhouse. In a sea of restaurants/steakhouses in New York, Vinyl Steakhouse stands outs. Needless to say I’ll be returning soon enough.

    Serious steak and supreme surroundings! This place is a breath of fresh air and a needed spark for a steakhouse. Perfectly cooked steak with a fine balance of sides (truffle Mac - wow). Go. Enjoy. Be Merry!

    If you are a fan of music, art, energy, and delicious food, Vinyl Steakhouse is a good option for you. A wide food menu and great cocktails. The butcher block steak with chimichurri sauce was particularly delicious.

    I know I have said it before, but redundancy makes the world a safer place. Without a doubt my favorite steakhouse in the city! The bone marrow corn and creamed spinach-(that comes with a surprise) are exceptional compliments. This is not a place for vegetarians... It is an amazing menu multiplied by a fantastic staff creating a culinary and festive experience. I recommend it highly. If I won the lottery, I would have a private table here waiting for me.

    Table was not ready when we arrived; waited over 30 min to get seated. The service was very slow; took 20 min for our wine to arrive. We had reservations at 9pm and ate around 11pm! Food was very average; steak way too fatty. Would definitely not go back or recommend this restaurant!

    Cool place. easy choice for a birthday or date. marrow butter as a steaksauce! chef knows what he's doing gets creative with the sides not your standard cream of spinach or boring baked potato. Its rock and roll just like the records you can request to be put on during your meal. they are not short on music choices.

    Having a desire to find a great steakhouse in NYC with a cool vibe was to be difficult. No sir, Vinyl Steakhouse nailed it. From the entrance, the posted concert bills to a huge selection of Vinyl records waiting to be enjoyed. The vibe and decor nailed it. Then, the staff mixed professionalism with friendliness. Eager to demonstrate that this establishment was ready to spoil your taste buds. The service, drinks and of course, the main attraction is hearty steaks. We couldn't help but smile when they arrived. Excellently prepared and served. I will be back time and time again for this stylish steakhouse. We wish to thank the owner for taking time to make sure we enjoyed everything. Shows he cares from beginning to end.

    First time dining here. Loved the food and vibe. We had a high top next to the front door which when opened have a slight cold breeze but not enough to matter. Plus they had a small heater nearby to account for this. Overall, great service and excellent food. I recommend the Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and NY Strip. Would def go again.

    The whole idea of this place is kind of cool but food isn’t that good . The stand out was the filet mignon which was perfect , but every thing else was just ok’ish . The place looks cool inside, perhaps trying a bit too hard but the lost me with the noise level ! The music is the whole point of Vinyl right? Literally the music is blaring so loud that you have to scream across the talk to speak. I was super down with good music but it was lost on me when the waitress can’t even hear to take your order.
