Late Valentines Day dinner was awesome. We had the crab legs and although it didn’t seem like a whole pound the taste was superb. The fact that the Chef splits the open to make it easier was perfect. We also had the hush puppies for an appetizer which were really good. Our server Elaine was great. I would definitely ask for her again.
Awesome post-valentines day dinner at waters. The food and service is always impeccable. 💯❤️
We were supposed to sit inside because it’s a cold night. We were sat outside so we ended up leaving before we could order. We have eaten here before and enjoyed it but this time was not a good experience.
We love Waters! Food, service, and location. All around great place for a nice occasion.
The food goes way beyond typical DFW offerings! Just be prepared to spend a lot more than usual for a Fort Worth dining experience.
Whether sitting at the bar for a “Dirty Dozen” and a glass of champagne or at a table, this is great food, good service, good atmosphere.
Wonderful service and great food.
Food was great and servers were very attentive and kind.
Food was good except for the thin steak. I was disappointed in the amount of fat and it being 1/4 inch thick. That’s the main part of the meal and it left me remembering better quality at other restaurants . Therefore I will frequent them and spend 200 dollars on a better experience
We took important clients to Waters during a TradeShow, it was the highlight of the week. Everything was absolutely beyond perfect. Best food I remember and service that was way above anything I have experienced lately. I will be back to this place as often as possible.
Waters has excellent seafood offerings. I made the mistake this time of ordering the ribeye steak special because the waitress said that the chef also owns a steakhouse. This was a huge mistake! The alleged dry-aged ribeye was essentially a glorified breakfast steak. Very thin with too much fat and not cooked properly. First, it was grossly undercooked, then they killed it by overcooking it.
Waters should stick to seafood and leave the steaks to someone who knows how to cook them!
Service great! Food great! Ambience great! I have been using Open Table to help me find new and different places for every day dining and special occasions. I hit a homer with Waters. Prices are such that I personally cannot go there regularly, but for special occasions...well worth the money! We will be back.
Still one of our favorite Ft Worth and frequently metroplex restaurants but this was a disappointing experience that happened to be celebrating my wife's birthday and included a "first-time" Waters guest and diner. Food: While the Amberjack special was excellent, the Halibut was dry and the gnocchi was gummy. Service: Delivery of Dirty Dozen was abrupt with no enthusiasm or personal explanation of each of the oysters, from where each was sourced and how each was special...nor reminder of how to identify and match to the written descriptions...i.e. no flair for what has typically been for us a unique and exciting start to dinner at Waters. Sommelier made excellent recommendation but his initial arrival and eventual delivery of wine was slow and neither he nor the wait staff came back by for refill pours. Again, we'll surely be back but look forward to some food preparation and service improvements that return Waters to a top-shelf dining experience.
Waters was a nice restaurant with really good servers. The Bloody Mary was excellent. But the main course was lacking. I got the lump crab with avocado salad. The crab didnt even taste like anything, just white lumps. The salad greens had long stems that made it hard to eat and the taste us very mild to nothing.
My husband had the business lunch with salmon. It was good but a tad soggy.
The best item we had was the calamari. It was fresh and tasted awesome. We are gonna try it at night.
Waters is nice. The food is above is above average. We enjoyed the calamari & salmon was an excellent dish. The lobster tail was overcooked & dry. We went to celebrate a birthday & the dessert wasn't complimentary. So grading it out, I would recommend that customers reading this review not spend their special occasion here because the overall experience is not worth the investment. Good environment. Obviously the dining is expensive, but the food is only above average. Overall, nothing special.
Order the Oysters! Lovely dinner out. A little late seating us for our reservation, but we were able to enjoy our cocktail at the bar without feeling rushed to being seated.
Lovely restaurant and service. I had the daily special which was Amberjack and it was AMAZING. I’m still thinking about that dish. Definitely worth checking out!
Annie was incredible. We had some special needs and were graciously accommodated. The gumbo is among the best we have ever had— loaded w seafood.
Excellent seafood at a very reasonable price. Staff was uniformly friendly and helpful
Fantastic food with exceptional service. Scallops were beautifully prepared and presented. Goat cheese crouton on a beefsteak tomato was to die for. The creme brulee was perfect. Great bar area and exceptional wine selection. Service was top notch and everyone was extremely attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Awesome customer service!!!
Excellent food and service! The only thing I would change would be something other than country music to listen to.
Great food with great service.
Our food and waitress were outstanding. The ambiance was perfect ! They treated us like we were the only people in the dining room.
Amazing experience! Very good service, and delicious seafood
A delightful dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Freshness with blending of flavors without overwhelming the basic flavor of the fish. Nice selection of oysters on the half, calamari light and flavorful. The halibut and crab cakes from the menu were only out done by the chef's selection.
Consistently first-rate. Very fresh and well-prepared seafood (which is what I always find myself ordering there). Good wine list. And excellent service.
The oysters and calamari were great. Our grouper was delicious! Waters always delivers when it comes to a delicious seafood dinner with good wine.
We dined here for our Anniversary and loved Everything about it! The food and service was amazing!
Amazing. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. We reserved a table online, but my wife accidentally selected the bar area. It was a Friday night and the staff went above & beyond to get us into the main dinning area in under 10 minutes.
Food was perfect. We are from California and love oysters, but have been disappointed by the selection here in Texas. We now have a "go-to" place when our home sickness kicks in.
Good food, ambiance and service but the price is not effective.
Great food and service. A real Fort Worth gem. Great oyster selection, sweet potato soup was the bomb!
Ordered the “Dirty Dozen”-delicious, such a treat to have fresh oyster! I ordered the fried shrimp, one of the Winter Restaurant Week entrees, probably the best I’ve ever tasted!
Lovely meal with excellent service. Food was uniformly plated attractively and tasted as nice as it looked.
We recently dined at Waters and ordered from the Winter Restaurant Week menu. My wife and I both found the Sweet Potato soup to be delicious, and we both really enjoyed our entrees - the redfish for her, and the shrimp for me. The only thing that left us less than completely happy was the dessert course. She is a big fan of Tiramisu and found the Tiramisu cake to be lacking in flavor. I thought my pumpkin panna cotta was rather bland as well. Having dined at the original Bonnell's and Waters on many occasions, we won't be deterred from returning based on one course out of many dinners being less than expected.
Food was excellent
Great restaurant. Great food. Great location.
Food was excellent and service was great. There were four
of us and everyone had something different. Everyone
was very pleased. Can’t wait to return.
