Wrigley Mansion - Geordie's
Enjoy happy hour, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch at Geordie’s . Whether dining in the main restaurant, the lounge or in one of our intimate private dining spaces, Chef Christopher Gross thoughtfully infuses versatile signature dishes, featuring beautifully grilled steaks, fresh seafood and fresh local products, with the season’s best ingredients. Our vibrant Sunday brunch experience also includes sparkling wine, select red and white wines, and domestic beers.
Really enjoyed ourselves. Husband didnt feel well and Pablo catered to him with some bouillon soup. The food was good not excellent. Ambiance was wonderful. Very professional servers. They made sure we were well cared for. Excellent job with that.
We would love to return.
Beautiful location with excellent food selection!
We were overwhelmed by the setting and the dinner. It was extra special that we were seated in a private dinning room at a round table set for six. Maz did an outstanding job of informing us about the brunch and seeing our every need was taken care of. We all would certainly recommend anyone we know to go there.
Best brunch in Arizona and quite possibly anywhere!
We went for the new Sunday brunch and had a great time. Ernesto, our server answered all our questions and was always there with whatever we needed. The food choices were excellent, excepting perhaps the water-logged crab legs. The short ribs were absolutely delicious!
I'd always heard one could dine at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, but never had. When we arrived, Samantha and Taylor greeted us very warmly and showed us around the mansion. I am looking forward to returning each time I am in Phoenix. It is an extraordinary place and a great restaurant as well.
New to the Wrigley, Chef Christopher served up an amazing meal, complete with suggested wine pairings. My wife and I booked at a time to catch sunset views from the dining room. That lived up to our expectations and then some.
Had heard better endorsements than the older reviews showed. Would recommend paying more attention to the reviews posted since February.
The Mansion is beautiful. The room we ate in was nice, but really didn't have the ambiance I was hoping for. There are other rooms that were nicer, but ours had a great view. We had lunch. The salad was just okay and the dressing wasn't bold enough for me, but very fresh. The entree, Seafood pasta, was also just okay. I was expecting the scallops and fish to be mixed in a nice sauce. There was only a half of scallop, cut horizontally, a small piece of salmon, and a small piece of sea bass seared and laying on top of pesto cavatappi pasta. It was very flat tasting. No salt or pepper on the table, but did ask for cracked pepper for salad. All and all, I would give the dinner three stars at best. The dessert was fabulous and I think their best item. I would go back and have the hamburger, which looked great. The service and the wine I had was five stars.
Gorgeous views, beautiful setting, comfortable chairs, food was amazing. We went for the Sunday brunch which they term "petite" but there's nothing petite about it! I highly recommend it.
my bacon, sausage and potatoes were just lukewarm. the shrimp and crab legs were frozen. the cake had dried edges.
What is there to say - as always a great outing, never disappointed.
We were seated in the wine bar, service was excellent and the perfect place to catch up with friends.
Great place for special anniversary dinner celebration. Very attentive staff and service. Loved wandering around the mansion before dinner too!
Service and food were delicious.
Beautiful view. Server with humor a plus. Appreciated not being rushed to leave.
Exceptional good service. Food price is very reasonable and matching with good quality of food. The restaurant environment is definitely relaxing and enjoyable. Will come back soon.
Brought my parents for their 56 th Anniversary and they loved it! It was more than I could hope for with excellent service and fantastic window seating with a beautiful sunset! It was a memorable evening for them.
Wonderful spot! Perfect to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Quality food, amazing selection!
it was a gathering of friends to remember somebody that had passed away. The entire staff is just wonderful, pleasant, attentive and a joy to be around.
We have been going to Geordies, and before that Christophers when it was in the Biltmore, for 13 years now. During our last visit we were surprised (and disappointed) that the menu items have both changed, and the selection has been greatly reduced. The three things that most stood out were, 1) the es cargot is now served as individual pieces under a pesto/basil puree that was both slimey and overpowering, not to mention changing the taste from a typical butter/garlic sauce and no longer served in a platter designed for the dish used to serve it in, and in the same manner as all French restaurants; 2) they no longer offer a duck or scallops entree, which again, the duck entree is typical French cuisine; and 3) they offered no dark/milk chocolate on their dessert, and instead tried to offer a white chocolate-based dish as a substitute. I realize all of these things may sound petty or irrelevant, however the price point for the food is still the same, thus my expectations of the food (authentic French cuisine) remain the same. Also, the noise levels and walk-through traffic from the adjoining corporate party in the next room really spoiled the ambiance of such a nice dining room, and again, this is the second visit where we have noticed that the corporate events seem to take precedence in the facility. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be renewing our Wrigley Mansion membership or returning to Geordies.
Fun to go once. The mansion is fascinating and has a lovely view. It was great to learn the history and read along the framed photos and news articles.
The service however was not good. While there were a number of staff and all seemed very eager to please, the actual service at every level was slow and clumsy - at the front desk, in the bar and at the table.
We had unfortunately landed on a Valentine's Day prix fixe menu. The choices were very limited and far overpriced. The food was presented nicely but mediocre at best.
As is so often the case, the beautiful venue attracted us once. But the dining experience will deter us from returning.
The Valentine's Day menu was amazing, and the wine pairings went really well with each dish. While overall the cost of the meal was pricy, it was worth it. I would definitely visit again. Personally, I am looking forward to seeing how the restaurant improves, once the new kitchen is built. I also am looking forward to seeing what the Chef's table will be like.
Nice place to go. Went to lunch and service was great. Good food options and you have the option of doing a package deal that includes a tour of the mansion or a separate menu that doesn't include the tour. But do the tour!!!! It's worth it! Lots of history with this place and the mansion is beautiful!
We loved everything about the restaurant. Food, views, ambience, service and wine.
Fantastic place, highly recommended.
A wonderful and relaxing place to eat. Because it is very expensive it will be only a special occasion venue on our retirement budget.
Our server made us feel very special. Lovely experience.
Soup was lukewarm and due to restoration I think it’s limiting the menu of old favorites. However, it’s always a fun place to dine.
Their service is excellent and the food Was amazing! One of the best nights I’ve had in a while! Will def be coming back!
wonderfully romantic spot for a couple to share a Valentine's Day dinner a day early. Both service and the food was excellent. There is also a nice bar and wine bar as well. The view from the dining room as and after the sun goes down is beyond expectation.
Early Valentines dinner with two other couples. Chestnut soup was a first and was delightful. Hanger steak was done perfectly. The pork chop got rave reviews. The fish was done perfectly also. Service couldn’t have been more attentive. Bread was otherworldly. Deserts were spectacular. Only issue is the wine is marked up spectacularly as well, no value there. Double is fine but triple? Only thing that would make me hesitate to frequent more often. Great evening!
Brunch is a buffet. Food is good. Omelets were excellent. Get your desserts early. The good ones go fast and are not replaced with the same. Also despite booking more than a month in advance our table location was horrible. Right in the path of traffic flow and next to the station for empty dishes. Very disappointing. Not what we expected.
Sunday brunch was wonderful as usual. Great food, service, views and more.
We came for my grandmothers birthday and she has not stopped talking about it! We love coming to the Wrigley Mansion for special occasions!
Really good food and service was great!
This was our first visit. The food was good, the service was ok. The negatives were that our request for a view seat was not honored. I understand this is not always possible but we were willing to change time slots to accommodate. Also, 2 of the 4 items we ordered were incorrectly made. Specifically, a salad was not a salad and asparagus turned out to be green beans. Neither of these ruined the evening but the combination of the order errors and the seating made the night less than desirable for our anniversary dinner.
It is the 2nd time I've eaten there. My sandwich was a little cool, so they made me a new one. As a token of apology, they brought us a great chocolate cheese cake slice to share. The service is very good and I enjoy the view and the history of the mansion.
Food was ok, nothing special. Service was fantastic. But a really poor value. Dinner was way too expensive for what you get.... they even charged us each$2.50 for ice in our after dinner drinks! Who does that????
From the moment you arrive at the bottom of the hill and walk up the stairway leading to the front entrance, you know you are about to experience something very special. The interior is exquisite, retaining a lot of it's original period charm and yet tastefully modernized to create a special ambience. The food is delightful and is served by very well trained staff who work very hard to make your culinary experience a special one. A night that you will remember forever.
The dining room views were outstanding. Service was above average. Menu needs some work. Entres were just ok. Great history. Take the tour. Worthwhile.
