Angel Place’s Ragazzi Wine + Pasta is one of the CBD’s most-loved dining spots, serving traditional hand-rolled, shaped and pinched Italian pasta shapes, with sauces and snacks that are uniquely our own. The menu, created by Executive Chef Alex Major and Head Chef Rajesh Bhandari, changes regularly, according to what’s in season.
Much like in the kitchen, Ragazzi's 250 bottle-heavy wine list highlights both classic and contemporary Italian winemaking, while paying full respect to the growing use of native Italian varieties here in Australia.
Ragazzi is lively and energetic with an open kitchen and bar and a warm, enthusiastic team.

Letra House is an underground restaurant and late-night wine bar, hidden beneath Palazzo Salato in Sydney’s CBD. The wine list is ever changing with over 50 bottles - all available by the glass - and a succinct selection of cocktails and vermouth.
A Spanish-leaning menu of snacks, small plates and sharers is a reflection of the team’s time spent cooking and travelling around Spain and there's a focus on seasonal, sustainable and producer-led ingredients.
Fast-paced and dynamic, you might expect to see tapas like raw scampi tostadas and Manchego custard-filled donuts with anchovies. There will always be a traditional Spanish tortilla, as well as a selection of jamón. Head Chef Brandon Jones’ socarrat with pippies and firefly squid is not to be missed, nor the house-made botifarra.
Happy Hour runs from 4pm to 6pm, Mon to Sat. Open until late, book ahead or walk in!

If you go beyond the wooden benches and beer crates out front of Nakano Darling's ever-changing facade, you might feel like you've stepped into a different world in Tokyo.
This place is where Suntory whiskey, sake, sochu, umeshu, and beer are freely flowing, and Japanese is spoken all around. It's a spot where anyone who loves good booze and delicious food could easily lose themselves for entire nights if not days. Nakano Darling represents everything that makes the izakaya, or humble 'stay-drink-place', such a central and beloved part of Japanese culture.
Of course, you'll find all the food and drink favourites here (think homemade gyoza, karaage chicken, and imported Japanese beer on tap), but it's about more than just that. It's about the experience.

Beautiful dinner with a warm, intimate atmosphere and lovely service throughout the night. The burger was honestly the best I’ve tasted in Sydney — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and genuinely memorable. We also had a beautiful Domaine Charvin Côtes-du-Rhône, which paired really well with the meal. The steak, crispy potatoes, and dessert were all excellent too. A really enjoyable night out and definitely a place I’d come back to.
