In the heart of Dallas’ Design District, Alara is a modern Mediterranean dining room—where bright coastal flavors meet warmth and generosity. The cooking is vegetable-forward, seasonal, and precise: start with freshly made mezze and tandoor-baked pita, then explore salads like the Green Goddess Caesar and Alara Panzanella. Entrées highlight refined comfort—Turkish coffee crusted wagyu hanger steak, kebabs and a pan seared market fish with saffron & rose water beurre blanc. End on a sweet note with chocolate molten cake or lemon & pistachio baklava. The room shifts from lively to tablelit as the night goes on, with a spirited bar and a covered patio built for long conversations and late toasts.
