i loved the service and the food was great. other than the high $$$$ and that it's valet only, everything was perfect. the octopus salad and strawberry tiramisu were the most memorable dish. flavors were amazing and the dessert was so refreshing and delicious. i would eat here every day if my bank account allowed.
Bus service was pushy with clearing our table before finishing meal. Bus person actually spilled water on guest.
Love the overall experience. The Spinach Cavatelli is a must!
Food and service was great. The only feedback I have is to reduce the time in between the dishes. Many times we waited 15-20 minutes between plates.

Excellent service. We celebrated our 6th anniversary there and requested a private table, although we would have been satisfied with a community setting as well. We we sat immediately at a table of our own. We met two people sitting next to us that we ended up striking up a conversation with mid meal and had a wonderful time. The meal was excellent and the service was as well. Would definitely return. When they tell you an item is fit for 2 people, TRUST THEM! We ordered the pork chop plate and it was enough for my wife and I. We also shared a few bites with our friendly neighbors and there was still some left over. Wonderful time.
Once again a friendly, welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable staff served amazing food that made us wonder how the Michelin guide overlooked Republique. This time the corn soup, the cacio pepe, and the beignet were the standouts but really every single item was so good. I have already made a reservation to return.
Above and beyond! Took out of town friends here and they said it was the best meal of their lives. I love it so much - the perfect bread and butter are just the beginning of how special every item is and how much attention is given to detail. Also - coolest staff.
One of the top five meals I’ve had in the last decade! We followed our waiter’s very enthusiastic recommendations and ordered the duck eclairs and Dover sole (among six or seven other things). Both were highlights. Everything about this restaurant was amazing, from the service to the food to the scene. Can’t wait to come back!

Unique setting with lots to look at. Up front it’s bustling with lots of natural light and action....the back of the restaurant is dark and more intimate so this will make a difference in your overall experience. We started off with wonderful tuna tare tare with a beautiful pull apart baguette and Normandy butter. Moved on to the Octopus salad (my husbands favorite) and hand made spinach pasta with a Morel mushroom sauce (my favorite)...next was the Duck with berries - meh - but lastly we had a deconstructed cheesecake which was the perfect topper to the meal. Our service was excellent - I would definitely recommend for dinner...I would love to return for brunch as I heard it’s outstanding.
Republique is a very good , but expensive restaurant. A good place to share a meal. Some dishes are exceptional, eg corn agnolotti ; beignets. Little Gem salad was delicious, as was bread . Other dishes are good to very good but but not noteworthy — burrata toast ; SB spot prawns ; bucatini cacio e pepe. I have to admit I don’t
“ get” the todo about spot prawns . Won’t order them again . Our server was great.

The worst dinning environment I've ever seen... Basically, you are sitting on ”windowsill” or dark corner (literally had to lean on the wall). The napkin was extremely dirty with some weird amount of tiny fabric, and they do fly into your food. The waiting time was extremely long; me and my boyfriend were waiting there for the entree after the appetizer like 40mins (no lies) and we were kind of feeling awkward since we were there just for dinner nothing else we could do during waiting time. And our waiter was like MIA the whole time. The only time he came by was to tell us our food is gonna be on the table in 2 minutes (which is actually 15 more minutes in normal timing standard by the way.)
Anyhoo, for the conclusion, I’d have to give the cruelest comments this year: I’d rather be starving to go there for dinner.
Disclosure: fairly speaking, their brunch is still the best in town!
Food was just okay; expensive and not outstanding. Extremely noisy. Ridiculous to be seated at family style table at this price point. Friendly service.

Our first time there and it was fantastic. We shared a lot of dishes and each one was delicious - loved the
gruyère & potato beignets, the crostini, and the pumpkin agnolotti. And the desserts were amazing! The service was great and the sommelier helped us find the perfect wines for our meal. Loved Republique and hope to go back again soon.

We had a wonderful dinner. Food was creative; service was exceptional; and ambience was inspiring. They have an extensive wine list.
The entire dining experience was excellent from start to finish.
The food was utterly incredible and the presentation was WOW, the drinks were also outstanding, and the ambiance and feel of the place was just perfect.
One of the top parts of the experience was the service, we were very lucky to have Alicia as our server and she was absolutely excellent the whole night, as were any other servers who came to our table.

Great time! One of the best meals we’ve had in a while
Horribly slow service from the kitchen. Some items didn’t even come out and others were forgotten until the waitress realized how problematic the kitchen was. For this level of restaurant the service and experience should be much better.
Truly incredible food and excellent service. We came back for a quick breakfast pickup through their window and were similarly impressed.

The inconsistent quality of the food did not justify the prices. The overall dining experience was saved, however, by the very attentive service staff. The overall impression was of yet another hipster LA restaurant with subpar food and clientele that wouldn't know any better.
I love Republique! Dining here nestles you in what feels like the hall of some great European castle where old friends rekindle over a delicious bowl of chilled corn soup or incredible crab mafaldine. Every dish takes you along an amazing journey your tastebuds will thank you for in dreams for years to come.

Loved this restaurant their appetizers were the best from the soft shell crab, savory potatoes and leeks beignets , Normandy butter and bread,cauliflower dish. I loved the corn ravioli too. I was little disappointed in Maine lobster Campanella and salmon but the desert brown butter cake was exceptional! You bite into a crispy sugar crust to a soft cake ! Definitely would come again!
Food was okay, the wait time between the courses was horrible. Three hours for three dishes. Also 72 dollars for two full prawns (and that’s it, no additional veggies) was a waste
We’d made reservations months in advance for a party of 6 to celebrate a special occasion. They put us at a table next to the oven where they were opening the oven door constantly to warm bread. So, we’d feel a blast of heat all throughout our entire meal, which would be toasty if we’re in Alaska. But this summer time in LA! Needless to say, the food was great but the ambiance, not so much!
