If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Turkish food in an upscale and beautifully decorated setting, come to Truva and we'll show you a good time.
We have visited the restaurant more than 20 times since we first dined there in April. We have tried many different dishes. All I can say is that every dish we tried was delicious. Yummy!
Fantastic service. Well decorated. Fresh food cooked right. The chef even came to say hello. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend!
We do not frequent this part of Atlanta and found Truva through a search. We were delighted with our meals. Very friendly atmosphere and wonderful food.
Everything we had was amazing! I highly recommend for lunch or dinner. I am Turkish and have a high standard which Truva met. The service and ambiance were both great too. Definitely will be coming back and have already told friends.
The food was excellent and the portions are very generous. Be prepared to share!
The food is really good. I love the place. They need to work a little bit on the bar in terms that the drinks take way too long to be ready. But the rest is excellent!!
Nice little neighborhood restaurant with good, Turkish influenced food.
First experience with Turkish food. VEGETARIAN MOUSSAKA was the best item or maybe the KANZANDIBI, Great service.
Excellent food and service!
Birthday. We had a great time. Food delicious, and our waitress was very attentive.
The redesign of the old space is very nice. We went on a Friday night with reservations. The service was harried and we were always in need of something. Everything is good but nothing is exceptional. Babaghanoush, hummus, tabouleh was good. The pita is think and cut into slices, tastes more like bread than pita. The food at Ameers is better but there is no ambiance.
We dined at Truva as a birthday celebration. It was our first time there but certainly won't be our last. The cuisine was delicious and authentic and well priced. The service was impeccable - our server was professional, attentive and charming. The ambiance is also wonderful. There is ample parking which is a nice surprise for intown dining. Truva is now on our list of favorite restaurants!
At this point we are regulars. We love the food. It is the real thing!! They make everything themselves including the delicious and addictive bread and the baclava. I definitely recommend it.
Mehmet was an outstanding server. Food was great.
Great addition to Virginia-Highland. Positives: Excellent service. Good array of meat and vegetarian options. Don't fill up on the bread, which is easy to do. Really good babaganoush and humus. Lamb kebabs were wonderful - tasty, cooked to order. Negatives: A bit pricy. Parking lot will soon charge for parking, don't know if Truva will provide validation.
Wonderful food, great service and ambiance! We will be back for sure!
Great food! Great location. Great Service. Will come back again.
Very personable atmosphere! The waitress was very helpful when we asked menu specific questions and was very attentive. We were greeted with a smile and enjoyed the eating experience!
Excellent as always.
The waiter was the very best. Wonderful food too.
Second time visiting Truva on Highland and we love it! The food is amazing, the service is attentive, couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Thank you!
The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. My wife is handicapped and has some food allergies. Our waiter had the chef come out and go over the menu with us. They were very accommodating. Outstanding service and the food was very good.
Food lacked flavor and service was extremely slow. Its a pretty restaurant in a great location.
We shared the grape leaves and I wished I hard my own order as they were so tasty. I had the vegan stuffed eggplant which I thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had the eggplant lasagna and could not finish it all as it was a generous serving. My friend had the lamb kabobs and said he would order it again. Our young male Server was very friendly and paced our ordering and meals well, and did not rush us. I look forward to returning.
Great service. Handled our 12 person table with ease
Great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders, attentive service, and great food. I'll definitely come back here again. Made for a fun night of catching up with friends.
Tasty food served up in generous portions. Service was friendly and attentive. The waitress new the menu and offered suggestions when asked. Left with leftovers and enjoyed the next day.
Fantastic food. Terrific specialties like grilled octopus and great versions of old favorites. Their gyro meat is homemade every day and will now be your gold standard. Tastes like gyro sirloin. Delicious.
Everything was SO delicious. We especially loved the octopus, scallops and beet/burrata salad.
Great food. Servers need a little more training on probably clearing and serving the table. Chef came out and talked to us. Staff very friendly.
The food was great!!
I will return
We had a great meal in a pleasant setting. We were glad to be able to talk to each other. Challenge was parking. You must pay for parking after 5:30 pm. I am told there are codes that the restaurant can offer to customers. The staff at Truva were not aware of this possibility.
Ate on patio to avoid noise inside. Very pleasant. Lamb chops extraordinary. Service needs improvement. Was not crowded so no excuse for drinks arriving late, or items forgotten. Disappointed with parking situation. Menu extensive and distinctive.
The food that we ordered was great. The drinks were alright, didn't leave an impression, but still good. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. The best part of our experience, however, is Mehmet our server. He was very polite, attentive without being intrusive. I am definitely coming back to this restaurant
I’ve been to this new location twice and had very different experiences! On the first visit, the food was outstanding, but service was a little off. On the second visit, the service was solid (albeit not outstanding), but the food was mostly blah.
I love the original Truva in downtown Atlanta and have lunch there often. So I hope this new location works out its issues and becomes as great as the original. I’ll give it a few more tries.
You must try Truva! Everything about this place is exceptional. Wonderful to have Truva in my neighborhood!
Truva tries hard but doesn't deliver an exceptional experience for a premium price point. Service is fine. And the food has some interesting flavors, but it seems to be lacking refinement. Appetizers are a missed opportunity. The portions are quite small for the price. In general, this sentiment can be echoed across the menu. "Value" is not a word that comes to mind when thinking of Truva.
Nice atmosphere and great food! Finally other options to go to in VH.
