Boulevard Seafood NY
Our fish is purchased on daily trips to the Fulton Fish Market, with our Chef selecting a broad array of both fin fish and shellfish.
Our gracious and spacious Dining Room, Bar, and Sidewalk Cafe are designed after the Pasadena, CA. Arts & Crafts masterpiece, the Gamble House.
We serve an extensive menu of contemporary seafood and American bistro food for Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner. Our bar offers an exciting craft cocktail list, twelve draft lines, and wines by the bottle and glass.
Boulevard Seafood Company is open every day of the year, except Christmas Day.
Love this place, unique on upper west side. Sad to hear they are closing again! Is there an investor out there to save this charming place with fine seafood, etc.?
Delish seafood. Excellent service. Why are they closing?!!
We were celebrating my cousin from out of town’s Birthday.
Certainly miss Henry's, and prefer the name, but am happy Seafood Boulevard kept the airy dining room. I am grateful management kept key menu items like the mezze plate and grain salad. Is there a reason wait staff does not announce price while listing specials? I tend to think twice about restaurants who bid the customer to inquire. Transparency is better.
Wonderful restaurant ! Good seafood, great service and spacious, inviting atmosphere. A neighborhood gem.
Janet is back !!!!
Great service and food consistently good!
My favorite neighborhood go to place.
Wide-ranging menu. Pretty decent quality. Not great, but better than okay. Decent wine list. Pleasant ambience. Service very spotty.
Nice restaurant with pleasant ambiance and good service. Preparation of fish dishes is interesting and tasty but fish, itself, was tough. Noise level interfered with comfortable conversation and air conditioning was not strong.
Great tuna burger for lunch. Tables spaced to allow conversation.
I met a friend and took my granddaughter for dinner. We enjoyed the ambiance and the food.
I was celebrating my friend’s Birthday and Retirement.
Spacious restaurant, food is good, bright and airy
My cocktail was delicious as was our salad. The main dishes sadly fell short however, and because of that not sure we'll return
Have to add though - excellent server and service
Everything was lovely. I even remembered our server from the old Henry's days.
It was a little warm however_
Terrific service and food
Great neighborhood spot. Sorry it took us so long to find out about it.
Had a great dinner with attentive service.
Fish tacos were very tasty and the Kale salad never disappoints.
Additionally, the personable Daisy deserves a shout out!
She is interested and open to feedback...
We really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant -- although I liked Henry's, I probably like this new version better. The space is preserved, thank goodness, so the open, airy room remains. We will visit again.
Great food, kind and non-intrusive staff.
Great food but I think they've priced themselves out of the neightborhood. There just isnt enough finesse to justify paying $50 a person. It's a solid neighborhood spot but priced like a michelin star restaurant. I've been 4 times since it became Boulevard after being Henry's. Tonight it was dead, while, almost every other restaurant on Broadway was at least 3/4 full. Here, 2 crabcakes cost $36. I could have a bowl of some of the world's best pasta at Marea and a drink for the same price. Overall good, if you're not paying.
Meh! Used to love Henry's and the space is the same. Other reviews complained about service but it was fine. The food was "okay", not terrible as some reviews say but not great. More on the level of what I might make at home--edible, moderately tasty but nothing special. I had fish and chips and the cod was nicely done. My friend's arctic char was okay but nothing special. It's what I now consider a moderate priced restaurant. If you go expecting a decent meal, you'll get that with good portions but nothing beyond that.
Outstanding service matched only by the fabulous food.
My new spot. Love the atmosphere and the happy hour is EXCEPTIONAL.
Great place for good food and conversation
A nice place- the former Henry’s. Service was a bit slow- lots of busboys but a shortage of waiters/waitresses. The ceviche appetizer- a special that night, was excellent. My snapper was a bit over cooked, as was were my companion’s scallops. Prices are a bit high for this neighborhood. A nice try, but needs to do better.
I realize the UWS is a culinary wasteland, and lots of ambitious restaurants fail. So they will have to deliver an excellent product to succeed here.
Food exceptional. Service deplorable. 3 entrees delivered. 4th delivered a half hour later. At least dessert drinks were comped.
The food and presentation are both very good, at reasonable prices. Our server lacked experience.
The quiet atmosphere for table/space layout kept from when the restaurant was Henry's is very welcome and conducive to both conversation and business lunch meetings. Thanks for preserving this.
Soft shell crab and fish and chips - both superb!
One of the few places where noise level is conducive to civilized dining and unforced conversation. The menu is varied, the service is good, prices are reasonable.
It’s really beautiful place food was terrfic and staff was super friendly, I am looking forward to returning.
Excellent staff from when you walk in to the severs and all of their associates.
Pleasantly surprised that we had not discovered this sooner. We had oysters, tuna poke, fish and chips and seafood tacos. All excellent.
After a shaky start, this place has found its legs. The menu is extensive, and they can deliver on it. Quite high quality food, though not exquisite, of course. The wine list is pretty good. The only problem is too many unprofessional servers.
Great food. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. But best of all, this upscale neighborhood bistro has taken care not to overstuff it's attractive space with too many tables. Unlike most other NYC restaurants, you can actually have a conversation without having to talk over everyone else. Perfect for a business meeting.
The food is fresh and delicious. We've never had a bad meal here. The mussels, the calamari, the fabulous seafood salad... It's all wonderful. It's a great place for an unforgettable meal.
mix-up with our reservation when the restaurant was NOT busy; the creme brulee was rather grainy. food was fine.
the servers are truly exceptional. they remember the allergies of my grandchildren. and they take such good care of us. I a truly grateful for them!
Following Henry's tradition, Boulevard Seafood did not disappoint; in fact, we have consistently been in love with this place. The almond-crusted halibut was perfect: moist and crunchy; soft-shell crab was also excellent and the cservice was friendly and prompt. We got to sit outside on a beautiful spring evening, with fabulous NY light as the sun set. In fact, it was so 'right' we all decided on dessert, just to keep it going a bit longer. Banana-chocolate bread pudding! Yum.
