At Aqua, diners can enjoy unconventional Italian and Japanese flair from its two innovative menus, Aqua Roma and Aqua Tokyo
Dress Code: Smart casual attire would be much appreciated and admired (all gentlemen must be in full length trousers. Shorts, sleeveless shirts or flip flops will not be allowed)
It was such an unforgettable dining experience ♥️ Amazing sea view with delicate meal，great for taking photos
Great dinner experience / a bit loud for the music.
Great food, fantastic service, wonderful view. Only thing was music a little bit to loud (lounge music which probably would be better in a bar). Prices a little on the high side for the food and definitely overpriced for anything you drink. If they ask if you want some edamame while you're waiting it is not a nice offer it is ---sales (78 HKD), 6 oysters (788 HKD), Water (85 HKD) Sushi plate (888 HKD) Champagne on glass (298/338 HKD), Cheese 2 different (188 HKD) Dessert Platter (388 HKD and 2 glasses 20 year old Port (516 HKD) Total bill 4078 HKD for 2 pax, not eating too much and no wine drinking.
1. A male waiter clean up the desk but our main courses haven’t come yet and hurry us to make order of desert.
2. The beef quality is not good but the taste is excellent.
I sent a window table request but they said I didn't confirm the table. but I thought the app confirmed the table. Anyways...
And the place is very noisy as expected.
Environment was nice but the food was just ok, would expect better quality japanese food.
Aqua does not disappoint with its food and ambiance. Really enjoyed my fourth brunch experience and will absolutely come back. New menu is a great balance of Italian and Japanese, loved fresh burrata and quality ingredients throughout. Service was not at par with usual though. We had to ask for every drink twice as waiters would nod acknowledging and then it would take ages for that drink to appear making us think they forgot. Also felt like a lot more staff than before on the floor, so the reduced efficiency was puzzling.
Went there on a Wednesday night by myself and the restaurant didn’t dissapoint. I was welcomed warmly and seated on one of the window tables . The staffs were really attentive .The the food and the vibe of the place was amazing .Will be back again with my family!
Was girlfriend's birthday, never have been to HK before. Was a very special treat. HK itself the star. Thankyou.
It's been months ago to Aqua.
Menu changed a lot, and the wine list got more interesting wine on the list.
I was surprised by the service, they still remember my preference of food and drinks.
Once I sat down the water is already served according to my preference, then my server start to explain hows the new menu works and recommend few of the new item to me. She was more professional then my last visit.
The new tasting menu is very interesting experience and the wine paring is perfect.
Overall, this restaurant have never fell me once.
Been to aqua last night and just the our previous visit, we were very impressed. My wife loved the decor and I became fan of their service style. Very attentive and considerate. After dinner we popped up at the bar for some pictures but the staff offered us with a table which was very sweet . My wife was very impressed with the service and overall ambience and seeing her happy makes me happy so aqua ... Thank you once again ♥️
Always a favourite when in Hong King. Big shout out the The always lovely, helpful staff - well done!
Never disappointing!! Always actually improving and offering new food options along with always better recognition and preferences tracking system!
I don’t even need a wine list anymore! They had my usual Gavi di Gavi ready at the table and my oysters arrived even before I opened the menu!!!
You guys keep on wowing me every time!!
See you very soon!
Service is below average, no warm welcome. I purposely wrote that it was to celebrate my birthday, even I was alone, no special attention, I did not expect to have freebies. But that can give a surprise to the guest. I spent quite a high average spending.
Great food and cocktails. It was our anniversary and they added a little note to our dessert which was a nice touch.
I was truly disappointed for my second visit within a month. One of your staff's unprofessional attitude has ruined the mood of our gathering. When compared with my previous visit in June, I was totally surprised by your serving staff's careless mistakes and her manner.
Had the Saturday Brunch and opt for free flow champagne at $688 pp. No need to choose from the menu and all items are included, it’s not a buffet but it’s more than enough for even the most hungry adult. We had cold cut (love it), cheeses, oyster (1 pp and good), sushi, sashimi (fresh but not the expensive types) , fry dumplings (not my favorite), cheese risotto w white truffle (full at this point and barely touched), lamb chop (juicy), prawn tempura (good), dessert plates (half are good). Ask for window seat and don’t forget sunglasses! Frankly the service was slow as in other reviews, I asked twice for espresso martini at 2:30pm but came nothing until we left at 3:20pm.
Superb view Bay Hongkong. Recommend to be there for the light show
Nice brunch with an amazing view. Service was pretty good, and food simple but delicious.
Even if we booked only a few hours ago, my son received a special ice cream with a candle for his birthday.
The music was sometimes strange and unpleasant, but hopefully not too loud.
We had a great time.
Thank you for your help for proposal events~~❤. I will be go there anyday soon.
Superb on all levels! Magnificent view, too.
The view is stunning and the layout of the table is great to everybody gets a view of the Hong Kong side of the harbour. The food was fantastic, small but decent serves and the service was extremely attentive and helpful.
We had two problems. The food was served barely warm for about half of the dishes we ordered. Secondly, a big part of the attraction is watching the light show from 8:00 to 8:15. For five minutes of that light show, our view was blocked by waiters serving our main course. I would have expected that the restaurant would be sensitive about this and managed so that it did not occur
Yes ! But every one knows the price say so expensive.
Great atmosphere and food was deiicious. Desserts did not really appeal. Excellent view of the light show.
The brunch was a wonderful with a good mix of Japanese and Italian. The ambience, service and view was wonderful. We will definitely recommend the place to friends and family.
It was a perfect lovely lunch. My Taiwanese friend and I were also amazed of the food quality at Aqua and your team’s excellent service and professional attitude. I will surely recommend Aqua to my circle of friends. Thank you!
Date of dining - End of June
Food, Setting & Service Criterion - 1) Food: Dinner was fair, we ordered two mains - fine + three starters, including one tartare, one Japanese plate. 2) Setting: We paid more for windows seating anyhow as we would like to have some authentic fine dining as Aqua prides to be. 3) Service: Our Server is professional, (NOTE: some waiting staff with customer service skills and customer-oriented TRAINING being given and in the near future, they would absolutely have been more welcoming in all areas of providing hospitality since the above-mentioned fine-dining experience is what you are looking for.
Literally the best food you’ll ever eat! And the view is outstanding also the best customer service experience we have had while being in Hong Kong ! Must go here
Great place great view fantastic food , unfortunately horribly loud music!!! Continuously playing it made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere
Aqua is a must visit when you're in Hong Kong the Sushi is amazing and so is the sashimi. My wife loved it. The lamb however had way too much fat and therefore was not enjoyable. The service was excellent and the view from the restaurant is amazing. The music is a bit too loud and doesn't augurs well for communication purposes.
The service was very slow. Menu and wine list laid on table - not passed to us and then no one came back. We had to ask for our drinks to be taken and then again for our wine. Bad form.
Music got progressively loud from around 8pm until we could not hear each other - more like a night club than a restaurant to enjoy the view (the only thing that did not disappoint)
You will have more higt-quality service mind.
Your waitress(old man) is no smile.
Fantastic views and service. No pressure felt to order despite a guest being delayed
Absolutely loved it, the table was the perfect view for our friend visiting.
The food was outstanding. Thank you
Awesome - a must in HK!
Service was great and food well presented and tasty, I can recommend it. Good view of Hong Kong island although the light show feels a bit dated.
Great stuff & atmosphere ... for me, too much food... but that is subjective to each person
i had an insect in my drink...
otherwise, good spot with a nice view.
brunch menu was more than enough for 2 people.
starter was good and the main was ok.
As it was my first visit to a restaurant in Hong Kong, I expected a lot and was satisfied enough. It was a place where the Symphony of Light could feel well, and the atmosphere was wonderful. However, the promise to move to a window seat was not kept, and the food was not satisfactory for the price. The wine was excellent, and overall it was a satisfactory visit.
