Felix - The Peninsula Hong Kong
Food was extremely bad,had brought my special clients fir dinner, but they did not like, also vegetarian options were too less.
Staff was highly Ok,for a place like this we do expect more.
Sorry I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are far more better options with better views
Walked into the hotel lobby, there was a Chinese venue taking place. This was 70s-90s Chinese Pop Kareoke at the lobby night, loud and tone deaf Kareoke. You can't buy class, but the Peninsula sure can sell it. Restaurant itself was okay, decent food, over priced. Bartender made a great old fashioned. Through the meal, tourists taking photos in the restaurant! Are we in a theme park, again, you can't buy class. Felix was my favorite restaurant a decade ago, I will not be returning again.
Not the Felix that once was. Sadly a tourist trap now. Overpriced, lack of staff training and experience. Bland food, waited 15 minutes for a drink, dated tired menu.
We were celebrating my 60th Birthday and wanted to do a special dinner with amazing views overlooking Victoria Harbor and this place has it all!
Everything is top notch , service, ambiance, food, drinks, even the ride on the elevator to the 28 th floor
We walked over from the Ocean Terminal . We were on the Azamara Quest cruise ship it was a very easy walk over along the beautiful harbor stopping to watch the evening laser show which is something not to be missed, and then we saw it again from the restaurant , so my birthday was indeed special many thanks to the staff at the Peninsula for doing a wonderful dessert display 🥂👌
Absolutely perfect evening with our children. Amazing views of the Symphony of Lights as we enjoyed our dining experience. Thank you for a memorable evening.
The music was slightly louder than expected considering its a dining venue with a bar.
Churros was soggy and disappointing. Baby spinach was tasteless and truffle fries was over seasoned. The prawn bisque was absolutely divine but you need to offer bread to your customers without them asking as the soup has a very strong flavor.
Service was very good and polite tho I almost hurt my neck trying to get their attention without having to raise my hand.
I think if you improve on these points, the overall food and service would have been perfect. I would have come back without a heartbeat. Now I am a little hesitant.
Visited and had the tasting menu with wine pairings. Felt underwhelmed by the flavours in a few of the dishes. Overall a bit pricey for the experience.
Very expensive for what you got. Wine was extortionate.
Table at 7:30pm next to a family of 3 kids on a Saturday night wasn’t what we expected. Food and service commendable.
Hong Kong's dining at its finest. Stunning setting, exquisite food and wine, attentive service - at a high-end price tag. I had the tasting menu with wine pairings.
1st time at Felix. It was outstanding. The service and the food were both excellent.
Tolle Lage und grandioser Blick. Neben sehr gutem Essen - Hongkong-typisch nicht ganz günstig - herausragender Service und herzliche Betreuung der Kinder (10 Jahre) auch am Abend!
Wonderful staff and Service. Amazing view.
Great service with wonderful dishes and awesome view of the Victoria Harbor. One of the best places in Kowloon to see the laser show in Hong Kong.
I’ve been eating at Felix for 15 years
Average food - Had the pork crepinette and the beef tenderloin. Beef was best item of the night. Pork was dry and under-seasoned. Starters were underwhelming.
Average service - We sat with empty drinks for 20 minutes, poured our own water and never were asked if we wanted more coffee.
Expensive for what you get. Go for the view.
Overrated and way overpriced. Don’t waste your time unless you’re spending someone else’s money. Even the you’ll get better views and food in one of the restaurants in the Intercontinental Hong Kong. Honestly didn’t much like anything about the meal or service. Take your money elsewhere unless you’re trying to impress.
The reason to come here is the view and exceptional service. The food was solid, but probably not going to wow the foodie's palate. We had a wonderful evening and would do it again.
The atmosphere was a little underwhelming, but the quality of the food far outweighs that small downside.
Very attentive staff without being intrusive. Technically impressive food, very well balanced and not pretentious. Understated elegant. Shame about the blinds hindering the view, that's all I can offer for improvement. Keep up the good work.
Felix seems tired, and seemed to have had its good days in the past. The setting is still nice, and the view spectacular from some tables. But the food was average to the price we were actually paying. But the service was very attentive and loved for it. Stick to their meat dishes--spectacular.
