We were just off a cruise ship and this meal was the best of the week! We ate in all of the premium restaurants on board and noting compared to this meal. Especially loved all the drink names as husband is a lawyer
Fantastic food, always changing their menu
My table of 9 had the most delicious dinner at Blue Acre! Ally the general manager was able to work us in despite how busy the restaurant was after several more guests joined us at dinner. Service was outstanding and attentive. The angry dungeoness crab was amazing! What a fun and delectable evening.
A bit pricey, they were out of king crab, our table was too small, a 2 person table for 5 of us, and they added the tip on to the bill, instead of letting us decide.
The food was delicious, although the price point was a little steep in comparison to other competitors in the area such as Daniel’s Broiler or Salty’s on Alki. This is also not a place for children nor people of color. The amount of looks and staring that took place was really uncomfortable,
The food and atmosphere here is so great. Servers are very friendly too! They have the best oysters, prep and presentation of anyplace in Seattle.
It was very pleasant but they forgot about one of our items until later
Food was incredible and the service was outstanding! There was quite a few screaming children which was unfortunate. But overall the experience was positive and I would definitely return when in Seattle next!
Great seafood and easygoing staff. Everything was as described and good recommendations from the waiter.
I took an out-of-town guest here. He had the salmon I had the swordfish they were both lovely. Definitely one of the pricier spots to go in town we spent $115 and had no salad, starter or wine just the entrée and water.
This restaurant had 4.5 stars on Yelp and was near my hotel. I was really looking forward to a nice seafood dinner while in Seattle but was quite disappointed. First of all, this “fine dining” restaurant does not even use tablecloths on their laminate table tops. Silverware is rolled up in a napkin atop a bread plate - for which you will need to pay extra. Not the ambiance you would expect for this price point. The menu is very expensive, starting at $34 and up to $60+ for simple, a la carte dishes. I ordered scallops, 4 for $44. My associate ordered the black cod, also $44. Neither dish was exceptional. The 4-bite $18 crab cake appetizer was also lack luster. The food runner auctioned our plates to us and did not even place mine in front of me. To top it off, the restaurant charges an automatic 20% service charge. Very disappointing all around. I will never return to this place and would not recommend. Go to a tried and true place like Ruth’s Chris.
This was a recommendation from my son. He sure has good taste! The Mussel appetizer, which we split, could have been a meal -- don't forget the sourdough bread to sop up the broth or, grab the spoon and eat it as a soup. I did both.
Going to the paramount
Amazing seafood in a modern but inviting environment. Service is top-notch! Always a reliable, delicious experience.
I saw the waiter twice. Once when I ordered and once when I requested the cheque.
I thought the service poor at best but was unpleasantly informed a tip had been included in the total cheque, maybe that explains the bad service.
The food was edible but not worth the $18.00 for crab cakes or the $48.00 for the salmon both of which were underwhelming.
I won’t go back.
I would recommend to a friend if they were going to the theatre or some other event, but not just to visit this restaurant. The food was good, nothing exceptional, service was very good.
I would not recommend this restaurant. we sat for over 25 min with only water on the table, the waiter was arrogant and I can see why. The restaurant automatically charges 20% service charge so there is no incentive for the waiter to provide you good service. We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary and it was the WORST experience EVER.
Very good food. Excellent crab legs
Blueacre Seafood has become our favorite pre-theatre meal. The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is notable for it's promptness and for the staff's memories of your preferences. Only downside is the ambient noise is quite high. One of our party has a hearing aid, and the background radio combined with the ambient noise makes it very difficult for her to hear conversation.
I would not recommend Blueacre. I felt like everything about it was average and not memorable. Nothing stood out as being great...the food, service, and decor was blah. There has to be better places and better food in Seattle.
Seemed like a convention crowd when we got there so was worried about the quality. The food was absolutely incredible. Every single thing. From the oysters to the halibut to the tater tots. Order as much as you can!
We loved the food, the flavors, the staff and the experience. Great menu choices, lots of variety. We will return next time we are in Seattle.
We ate at Blueacre, just down the block from the Hyatt Regency, and had a wonderful experience. The decor is modern yet classic. It can be a bit noisy, so sitting in the upper area on the right is recommended.
We started with a selection of oysters. They were well prepared, and very clean. They came only with a cocktail sauce, but when requested, they brought a lovely mignonette.
We ordered the black cod and the halibut, both very ell prepared and delicious.
Dinner with wine came to approximately $95 a person with tip.
Would recommend. They are also very good for lunch.
Awesome seafood and wonderful service!
We had a wonderful meal with great service. The choices were so many and so tempting that it was very hard to choose! We ended up ordering a number of smaller items. The standouts were the Thai mussels and the salmon with almonds and cherries. Our waiter was friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Everyone from the maitre d thru to the bus staff was pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend a visit!
Was here for a business dinner while in town for a conference, and was able to accommodate a party of 12 with a same-day reservation. Some of the best Black Cod you could ask for. It was a Friday night, and there was some other large groups. Our server was very nice but the overall service was very slow - 2.5 hours - plan accordingly.
Very disappointing service considering the caliber of food served. My daughter ordered Seabass, and they brought swordfish instead. She did not realize it was not Seabass, and because she was not enjoying it, I traded her plates, giving her my halibut. I had to ask twice for another glass of wine. They failed to bring the coffee she ordered with dessert. We ordered cheesecake for dessert, but they were out so we ordered pecan pie instead. They charged us for both.
Excellent Food, just a bit on the pricey side
Dinner was outstanding service was incredible and I couldn’t of had a better meal.
Great, fresh seafood with fantastic service! Gratuity of 20% is included in all tabs. King Crab was phenomenal, as was the chilled sampler! Highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh seafood in Seattle!
Very overpriced for what you get. Portions extremely small. Decent wine list for novice drinkers.
Blueacre has potential to being a great restaurant. Unfortunately, it's tired and needs to reinvent itself to keep up with the modern times.
It is a great time at the restaurant, to enjoy fresh dishes of oysters!
The food was excellent--fresh and creative. The service was really outstanding.
Upscale casual seafood restaurant - lots of tables in big rooms - a bit noisy - food was very good, service was also.
Superb! Excellent food and beautiful atmosphere.
Expensive, but one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed. Service was also outstanding. A little close quarters, but the food makes up for it.
We thoroughly enjoyed my husband’s birthday at Blueacres. Our food was delicious from beginning to end. As strange as it may seem, your restaurant was the only restaurant we ate at that cooked the salmon without overdoing it and making it dry. Our waiter was great too. We have already recommended it to friends coming to Seattle soon.
