Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Uptown Dallas
I had the famous Perry pork chop and it didn’t disappoint!!
I don’t know they do it so perfectly and it was huge. Took home half of it for lunch. The cocktails, side orders and trio desert were delicious and all were beautifully presented. The service was perfect, JR our waiter, was excellent in every way. The live piano music with singer made the summer night dining ambience lovely.
We had a great dinner with friends and will return.
Everything was great except for the construction surrounding the property. Had I known about it, I wouldn’t have dragged my friends down there. We had to enter the restaurant through a makeshift pedestrian walkway approx 30 feet long. Kind of a buzz kill.
Truly an amazing dining experience. The Restaurant Week menu was perfect and our steaks were probably the best I’ve had!
The World Famous Pork Chops are GREAT...!!! I will be back to try them again...!!!!
Wow! The pork chop! Alexander gave us great service! Will be back!
Love Perry's! Food and service was phenomenal as always.
Service was spot on, food options extensive. We enjoyed everything. The mix drink special was a great scotch concoction.
Very loud differing converse.
We take advantage of Pork Chop Friday as much as we can. It is a great value for the money.
Our waitress Sharlin was great! Very attentive, as she keep our water glasses full and provided us great service
This was our second lunch at Perry's in Uptown and it was amazing!
Excellent service and the food was awesome. I will be returning soon.
I don't know what it was, but I got super sick last night.... I thought it might have been the butter and/or bread, because my dinner guest was sickened as well. It was his birthday dinner btw. Today I had the leftovers for lunch and became ill again! I've been to Perry's before and have never had a bad experience which is why this comes as a tremendous disappointment.
Food was delectable & incredible ambience... Would highly recommend!
My fiancée and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We had the best waiter ever. Our waiter Alexander rocked the experience. We will definitely be back!!!
The food and service were, as always, excellent. The music volume piped into the restaurant is much too loud. It is difficult to have a conversation without projecting your voice loudly, so you end up hearing bits and pieces of everyone's conversation as they shout to be heard by their table mates. Perry's remains our favorite downtown Dallas steak house.
A night out away from our daily routine
The food was amazing besides the crab Mac and cheese.... don’t get it, the crab was very fishy tasting in the Mac and cheese. That being said the crab cakes were AMAZING! The service here is very slow but it is a great place to eat if you want some yummy food. Get the pork chop! So good!
We took advantage of restaurant week to try Perry's. Everything was just excellent! My spouse and I both had the bacon wrapped 8 oz filet and it may be one the best steaks I have ever tried. The Perry's Reserve wine - both the Chardonnay and the aAbernet - were also great. We will be back.
The service was excellent and the bone-in ribeye was awesome!
If you go to for the Friday pork chop lunch, be prepared to wait- even with a reservation. Reservation holders had about a 20 minute wait and the waiting area is super small. Once you get seated though, everything is great.
Hour wait after reservation
Outside seating in Texas summer without any fans is not something I would do again. When I booked reservations I wasn’t aware that it was outdoor seating without air condition area.
The food was good as always but never I’ won’t do outside seating again ,unless it’s fall or winter
Had reservation at 11:30 but still had to wait for over 10 minutes to get seated. Surely could do better.
The food I enjoyed was delicious. I made a reservation for 11:30 a.m. It still took 15 minutes for my party and me to be seated. This was disappointing as I had a tight schedule and the outdoor seating area was empty, less one party of 4. I do wish that the portions were more than consistent. Several fellow diners had smaller, drier portions, unfortunately. The service from Angie was initially good, but as more patrons were seated in her section, the service steadily declined. She wasn't readily available for 10 minutes or more at a time. She, unlike servers in adjacent sections, didn't offer to pack our to-go boxes. But, placed them on the table.
The ambiance was great. Outdoor seating wasn't my first choice. But, the surrounding buildings helped stave off the heat.
Went for pork chop Friday. Has reservation for bar. Food was delicious. Drinks on point and server was very attentive. And we got a cute dessert for my BF bday. It’s a madhouse on Friday during lunch so go early and make a reservation.
Had a reservation yet still had to wait almost 30 minutes. was seated outside without asking for a preference and was terribly hot outside.
We enjoyed lunch on our Anniversary and had a great experience. The pork chop is the best I've ever had. The drinks are great also.
Excellent service and food.
Nice atmosphere was lucky to get the July Special. Appetizers were great.
Great food I wish the singer would have been there this past Sunday. The food is phenomenal..
I have had the Pork chop several times in the past, this visit was the worst Ive had there was alot for fat and it wasnt as tender as I have had in the past. I was celebrating my 25th wedding anniversay so I didnt want to raise a fuss and disrupt the mood. We ordered 3 Chops this time and was bit disappointed in the quality after bragging on it to the others I had invited. with that said Overall my wife and kids all enjoyed there meals. Our waiter was excellent and the ambience was great.
Service and good were both great!
Great staff and wonderful food.
Our awesome waiter, Johnathan was the BEST!!! He was very attentive, offered great menu suggestion, very knowledgeable with the menu items (as it was our 1st time and we were celebrating birthdays). Manager, Daniel was also great and we enjoyed speaking with him about Johnathan and the service. The ambiance was great and the music was good.
Our reservations were for 9:00 pm and we were seated by 9:30 pm. Valet parking was kinda funky due to current restaurant construction and not enough Valet Attendants directing customers pulling up to wait.
The Fried Asparagus, Pork Chop, Salmon, Bacon Wrapped Filet, Dessert Trio, Nutty D’Angelo and our Martini’s were ALL DELISH!!! We were all stuff just from the salad and appetizers and we all had take home bags, but just enough room to complete dessert!
The Pork Chop Bites were quite salty (I think it was in the sauce). I’ve had better Calamari not crisp. Johnathan requested our dessert, but after such delay he prepared it himself.
Perry’s has been added to my list of TOP restaurants to patronage!!!
Always outstanding!! Staff was very friendly! Vanessa in the lounge.. rocks!
Food was good, but three hours to complete a meal for two from the prix fixe menu is ridiculous. We pored our own wine, had to chase down our server more than once. It was an embarrassment for me when I was there to impress my friend on her birthday.
I have been to Perrys many times, this experience truly colored my opinion. With so many great dining choices in Dallas, I am not interested in visiting again anytime soon.
Had a reservations for over a month. We showed up on time but still have to wait 20 minutes before we got seated. Then the seat we were given was in the bar area that’s not equipped for dining service. Service was extremely slow!!Took 30 mins to take drink orders, then another hour before appetizers came. The entire dinner took 4 hours!Food was great but expected more out of Perry’s for service. Was totally disappointed in their service level.
Food was amazing. We had a party of 6 and is was very hard to talk as the restaurant was quite loud. The service was extremely slow- it took almost 20 minutes to get our cocktails. Go for the food- suffer through the service!
