What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
We stopped in here the night before our Alaskan cruise! Amazing! They took my gluten free need very seriously and service was top notch! The summer risotto, clams and muscles, and panne cotta were to die for!
The waitress was horribly rude when I’ve asked for butter. When she brought out the bread, I ask for butter again? It took her 15 mins to bring it with a smirk, as she rolled her eyes. The butter was not even close to half a tablespoon. Wow! For a high end restaurant, you can be really cheap and rude on giving your paying customer butter.
Service was great! Dinner reservations are hard to procure so it’s nice that lunch is such an easy option. It was a bit warm in the restaurant and we needed to request ice for our water to try to not sweat during the meal. I ordered the crab risotto and it was just okay. Dessert was blah along with the garlic breads We started with. The fried rice ball appetizer with fontina cheese was great! I usually go once a year to this place and order the lasagna, which is always pretty good, but I decided to switch it up. There are better fine dining places in the city, I think their reputation supersedes the actual food. Out of 10 stars I’d give Pink Door a 6.
Everything was perfect. I was a little sad when I didn’t get gnocchi with my scallops instead got a polenta. I really ordered that dish for the gnocchi. I wish I would had the choice on whether to change my dish or not.
We had a hard time find it as the is no sign. If you don't want to put up a sign, you might say they is no sign on the website.
We had a great time and the staff and food were fabulous!
The service was great and their signature lasagna was amazing! I will go back the next time I visit Seattle!
Delightful food, a lovely roof deck on a warm afternoon, and a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary.
Our first visit to this wonderful hidden gem. It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish. The room is beautifully decorated, the staff attentive, friendly and informative.
Great food and show
The place has a nice vibe to it. The decor is very pretty. The food was decent but the service was pretty good.
Everything was fantastic, the food, the ambiance, the service! A must do dining experience while in Seattle! Be sure to make a dinner reservation in the bar area to see the fabulous aerialist!
The service was too rushed for us.
Reunion of old friends, wonderful food , great service and wonderful outdoor seating for lunch
A unique atmosphere (we ate outside), and our server, Shandra, was excellent (considerate in waiting for our group's chatter to die down) and engaging. The food was very good, although my wife's lunch was slightly lukewarm. We'd love to go back, particularly when there's entertainment.
Second time being in Seattle and second time at the Pink Door. Coincidence, not. First time was pure chance we found it, literally, lol. Pink doors do not show themselves in the dark.
Always recommend this place to anyone visiting Seattle. Great atmosphere, neat vibe. I do miss the “before renovation” atmosphere but eating outside was quite nice.
Food is lovely but mostly enjoy the ambiance.
Best deck for summer lunch in Seattle. Great food and ambiance can’t be beat
The Pink Door is a Seattle Treasure. It has maintained its excellence through the years and is a great place for lunch or a celebratory dinner.
Fantastic restaurant. All the fabulous reviews are true. Food, ambiance, service -everything is as good as it gets. Sit on the patio and have the lasagna. Absolutely divine! So think about it. No sign, no advertising because they dont need it -its fabulous.
We had a wonderful dinner at Pink Door last week. The chicken and caprese were on the average side, but the lasagna was amazing. Great view and service.
Great spot close to the market! We sat outside on their gorgeous patio, much quieter than indoors and filled with all different types of flowers. The food was great, our server was nice, and the ambiance was very enjoyable.
Everything was outstanding!
Beautiful setting, excellent food, a wonderful dining experience.
We were celebrating the birthday of a friend from the mid-west and the Pink Door was perfect! Great view, food, and ambiance!
I love this place- great ambiance, yummy food. Only reason not 5* is the server was weird! We asked for his recommendations and he just said look at the menu. Then when asked between two items he also couldn't answer. Not sure if he was subbing that day or just didn't care. I love Pink Door though.
Dinner and a show! The performance was so tasteful and really added to our experience!
The food was okay, the service was good. There was no air conditioning in the dining room & we sweat the entire evening. We didn’t finish our meals because it was so uncomfortable. Would not go back
Food was delicious, best lasagna ever! Make a reservation if you are going to be in the area. It is worth it!
We were a group of 6 and we had a fabulous lunch at the Pink Door. The service could not have been better, the food was excellent and we were impressed with the portion size. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent place!! Better that what I was
Told. Muy recomendado!
Is this a fun place to eat? Absolutely. Are you going to receive a good meal? No doubt. Is this an incredible culinary experience? Eh. It’s good food, not great. The fries are phenomenal. The rest of the food is good. The experience is delightfully pink.
So, the food was good. Well made, what you's expect for better quality non-microwaved dining (yay!) But the thing I cannot get over was the anti-gun violence drink. I can't really remember the name but it was something like that. Here's the thing...it had yellow charatreuse!, vodka, and lemon and it was my favorite drink ever.
Also the server had really great teeth. He gave us champagne because it was our anniversary. We sat at a window and stared at the market and the Sound. It was pretty awesome.
I did almost unplug a lamp with my purse, so watch out for chords.
Service was great. Very friendly staff. Great views! Food was good but not great; I was anticipating better with the high reviews I've read prior to our visit. I would go back if a friend wanted to go but would not seek it out.
Everything we had was outstanding!!! The arachini are a must and so is the lasagna!
I've been here multiple times. The service and ambiance is always on point. This time, the food was so so. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't anything special. I ordered the crab risotto and there was an underwhelming amount of crab sprinkled on top. The crab is the only reason why I picked the dish in the first place. It wasn't anything to write home about. The garlic bread was to die for though. I would have been happy with just that as my meal.
Must try mussels and clams here! Their vongole pasta is a killer. The restaurant is located by the Pike Place Market. We were seated by the window and it had a nice view of the market and beach. Parking can be a little difficult. Would recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
Absolute best restaurant in Seattle. Went for lunch the day we arrived in Seattle before our Alaska cruise and the day our cruise was over. We sat outside and it was so pretty and airy. The food was fabulous and my personal favorite was the tri-color tomato bruschetta. Tomatoes as fresh and ripe as you could hope for. The saffron arronchini was great as well. Meatballs, pasta dishes and a specialty pizza (prosciutto, burrata) were all amazing. They have specials everyday in addition to their regular choices. Also nice summer cocktails and even the house White was nice. But both times we had lunch, the staff could not have been more professional or personable. They were so attentive but we never felt rushed. They were stellar! All in all, a perfect experience and one I will be sharing with everyone I know traveling to Seattle! Don’t miss it!
Food and service were amazing! Best lasagna I have ever had!
The Pink Door was fantastic! Great food, amazing ambiance and nice views from the main dining room. I would definitely return the next time I am in Seattle.
