This place has Outlived its fame .. the food is just ok and I think overpriced . The waiting was over 1 hour even though we had reservations.
Always a fun experience for a special occasion. The food was fresh and fabulous. I had the halibut special and my friend had the Pork chop. The sautéed peppers appetizer was yummy and of course you must have the lemon lime meringue pie. And, topping it all off, Lonnie, our server, was excellent. He made great recommendations and by the end of our meal, we felt like old friends. He’s a gem! A great belated birthday celebration. Thank you.
Perfect meal! The duck is by far the best entree on the menu. Service is wonderful. Don’t miss the lemon lime pie!
Fun food. Comfortable atmosphere. Definitely would come back
Mustards is amazing ! Great attentive friendly service! Food flavors amazing! I highly recommend this place!
Everything always tastes amazing!
My friend and I celebrated our birthdays at Mustards. They gave us a quiet table, out of the way. They provided complementary champagne as they seated us. The crabcakes were delicious. I had a shrimp tostada that was okay, but I would pick something else if I go there again. My friend had the lamb burger that was excellent. Our dessert was outstanding and they provided a complementary, delicious vanilla bean ice cream, complete with candles. Although the food was delicious, the best thing about this restaurant was the friendly and wonderful service. Thank you Mustards Grill staff.
Fabulous ! I had the hamburger and it was one of the best ever
A solid lunch!
Wonderful, as always! One of my favorite dining locations when I visit Napa Valley!
Interesting menu, great service, BIG wine list all in a very casual dining room.
We always have an enjoyable time.
Celebrated a birthday. Perfect place. Gracious waitress, friendly staff, elegant special halibut entree with delicious roasted peppers. Incredible dessert too. Thank you
I love this place! Every time I go I have either one of the amazing specials, or my go-to Mongolian pork chop. The lemon lime pie is amazing, but I wish they’d add the campfire pie from Cindy’s Backstreet Kitchen.
Interesting menu all food was outstanding, a little pricey for lunch. Will be a regular stop for our future trips to Napa.
We came from the Sacramento area to meet a friend, who came from SF. We chose the restaurant because we had heard good things about it. We were disappointed. The food was good, but not outstanding, as we expected it to be. We had looked at the menu online and knew the prices, which we were ok with if the food had been outstanding. My husband had the pork chop...he said it was dry and tough. Our friend had the flat iron steak...she said it was ok. I had the chicken sandwich...good but still somewhat ordinary. We had high hopes which were not met...doubt we will be back
Wonderful experience-and accommodated my food allergy
There was a hair in the chicken wings and they were accommodating to fix the problem. Lovely evening!
Mustards Grill came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Our food was delicious and service was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they comped a drink and brought ice cream with a candle. Very nice of them to do that. Atmosphere was great, nice view at table by the window.
Wait staff and food was excellent. The restaurant is small, we had a table that had patrons that were very noisy. The noise was so loud, my wive and I had to lean over the table to each other in order to hear our discussion. We have gone to Mustards a number of times. The wait staff and food has always been impeccable and the ambiance was good.
The noise (loud voices) of the patrons at that table was overwhelming and a number of other patrons noticed the disrespectful behavior. It was as if the restaurant belonged to them and their bravado.
We loved our dinner at Mustards Grill. The casual atmosphere was friendly and lively. The food was excellent. I had the pork chop and my wife had the chicken. Both dishes were very good. Warning...the portions are very large and we could not finish either one. If we go back we will certainly split our dinners so we could have room for what looked like fantastic desserts.
You have to go to Mustards when your group goes to Napa and it’s a must for a reason . All the standards done well by one of those rare places that’s been doing it right for many years . Reservations are a must , this place has been cranking everyone I’ve been there.
Pork chop was wonderful. My husband's cioppino was okay. Everyone's mashed potatoes could have been hotter. The lemon-lime tort was amazing.
It was our first time there and I thought it was a good but it was not. Our family always love to try different restaurants every Friday so we decided to try here. The food was good but I'm not jumping on it. Waiters/Managers service was poor. We will definitely not go back to this place anymore and would go back to our favorite Don Giovanni who has really excellent food and waitress/managers were all friendly.
I had a salad and it was excellent. Device good. Maybe 5 minute wait with reservations. Very very LOUD. Had a hard time chatting with my husband sitting across table from me. Overall I would probably visit again
I have nothing but good things to say about this place!! I had the pork chop and it was amazing!!! my wife had the adult grilled cheese and it was fabulous as well! The service is great, food came out in good time and they got us in as soon as we arrived!!! Love Mustards!!!
Food and Moe were awesome...
Great food, service, daily specials, ambiance and value.
Our dinner experience at mustards was great. We were seated reasonably quickly but it took a while to get the service started. After our waiter introduced himself the service was decent. I realize this restaurant is a NAPA institution and we had high expectations for the food. The 3 Greens salad with Blue cheese dressing was fantastic. We did split the salad and I believe there was a split charge. My Tuna sandwich was good. I thought the pretzel roll it came with was a bit too thick and dense for such a great piece of fish. The half chicken dish was fantastic and it took a while to come out. Overall the service was decent and the food was generally delicious. If we are lucky enough to go back there we were order the grilled selections as they looked great on other tables.
My partner wanted to have dinner at Mustards for his birthday. We came on the Wednesday 2 days prior to his actual birth date. The waitress was delightful, accommodating and brought him a cupcake with a candle in it which was unexpected. When we were leaving I asked the woman at the front which item on their menu was the most popular and she said the Pork Chop. So, I guess we will return to try the pork chop!
Mustards is an oldie but a goodie. I have been eating here since the late 90's while living in SF and visiting the valley. We moved to Napa in 2000 and have been able to eat her more often, and the food continues to be well prepared and the service outstanding (thank you Andrew). This is my second visit with a vegan and I really appreciated Andrew's assistance in dish selection. The onion rings were a particular hit. Myself, I can't stop ordering the sweet tamales. Thankfully I have sampled much of the menu prior top becoming addicted to them. The menu has a wide selection, the wine list is excellent and diverse, and the deserts amazing. Thank you Mustards and Andrew.
Came here 15 years ago and loved it. Came back and it did not disappoint!! Great food and EXCELLENT SERVICE! Highly recommend
Service and food were exceptional. We ate here 23years ago. It was still as good as every.
Have been to Mustards many times. It never disappoints.
Dinner was very nice. Waiter started out strong but became less attentive as the meal went on. We do enjoy Mustards when we come to Napa for wine tasting
We were on vacation in Sonoma and drove up to go to Mustards. Knowing it would be busy at regular meal times we planned our visit to the area around a 3PM reservation.
What a great thing to do. Hardly anyone was there, it was very quiet, yet we got fabulous service.
The food was great - prepared so well, fresh and interesting. We left close to 5 when it was just beginning to get busy.
It is a great restaurant and was a terrific experience.
Classic Napa restaurant that stays true and delicious year after year. The tamales are incredible, the pork chop was juicy and delicious and the lemon-lime tart knocked our socks off!
Amazingly consistent food and service. Mustards continues after many years to never disappoint, thank you Cindy and crew for all the hard work it takes to keep up your high standards.
Our absolute favorite Napa Restaurant! Food, service and atmosphere is always welcoming and amazing.
Great food, service and knowledgeable team at the restaurant.
