Food and service was good. Our bill got messed up, but was fixed. Menu items were slightly expensive compared to other area restaurants, however they have great specials. There were several tables occupied. Noise level was slightly elevated. My husband had some issues trying to hear the couple we dined with across the table.

Sliders were great - shrimp tacos cold. I’ve never had fish or shrimp tacos served cold. When I mentioned to waiter he had them sent back and came back cold again.

Food was delicious. Had a rack of BBQ ribs which was gigantic. Menu said $29 but bill said $30. It came with no sides. Ordered side salad for $5 which was great. Asked for side of Asparagus which was a bit of a joke. FOUR spears in a dish. Cost $5 also. Son ordered chicken tenders and fries but we were shortly informed they were out of chicken tenders. Settled for boneless chicken wings (not sure what the difference is honestly). Nice outdoor area. Cocktails a bit pricey. Overall an ok experience. Glad I finally went to check it out. Not sure I'd make the trip back again though.

If I was giving this place a letter grade, I would give it a solid C. There was nothing glaringly wrong with it, but there was also nothing outstanding about it either. My wife got the fish and chips, while I got a half-rack of ribs and a side of fries. The fries on both our orders were limp/soggy and barely warm. The ribs were tender and falling off the bone, but the barbecue sauce was nearly indistinguishable from ketchup. My wife also got a blackberry mojito from the bar that she said was good, and I got a margarita on the rocks that seemed to be straight out of a premade bottle. I would not rule out returning here, but I also am in no rush to get back.

River House Bar and Grill is a favorite restaurant of mine. The menu is varied and the meals over the years that I have ordered were all very good. My friends all enjoyed their meals. The restaurant can accommodate some dietary restrictions as the one friend's gluten free needs were easily met. Our Server was friendly and attentive without hovering. I have always found the waitstaff to be very good. One challenge is that it can be noisy due to the number of televisions and a pool table. It does have an outdoor deck that is covered for dining. I highly recommend a visit to this gem, I will be returning I know.

We did the Old Bay Sundays Seafood Feast for $75/pp and we got snow crab legs, hush puppies, clam strips, shrimp, corn on the cob. It did come with smoked chicken but they were all out of that by the time we got there for our 6pm resy, but all good, they do warn you as advertised as while supplies last. We also shared the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and it was ooey, gooey, and delicious, a must try!! Service was great, everyone was kind and courteous. We will be back for that feast again as well as to try their other items on their menu which sound really good!! Highly recommend!!
