   Our server, Qazi, was especially attentive and accommodating as our group continued to add people. We attend the same conference every year at the Omni and he remembered waiting on us before. Grateful the the exceptional service from everyone at Robert’s.

   Lovely ambiance and excellent service by the waiter. Just wished the house bread was warmed up. It was cold and a bit hard. Also, the manager who checked in on us made it awkward. He was warm towards the other guests but had a cold and dry approach with us. Just weird and somewhat unpleasant which defeated the purpose of the encounter.

   I loved the ambience but the service was mediocre. My fiancé and I went there for Valentine’s dinner. Unfortunately I asked for medium well steak and it was rare. The waiter offered to make me another steak which was ok. May give it another try.

   This was a Valentine’s date. The staff was friendly but sometime inattentive. The pre-fixed menu was over priced. The lobster tail and lasagna were salty. In addition, the valet employee in the hotel was rude.

   We ate there on New Year's Eve. They offered a prix fixe dinner, which was excellent, and the dining room is lovely. However, the service was extremely slow and the waiter, who appeared to be completely unfamiliar with the menu, got our entree orders wrong, resulting in a substantial delay. (No adjustment was made to the bill.) Also, I had called in advance to confirm that we could bring our own wine for a corkage fee, but this appeared to be a totally new concept to our servers, and after they did finally approve it and opened our wine they never brought us an ice bucket despite asking for one several times. A disappointing experience at a storied hotel.

    We love the elegant, historic Shoreham and the room that Roberts restaurant is in is exquisite. Note. what I am commenting on was a Thanksgiving buffet, not your normal meal. The service was excellent and the food was plentiful, the variety of choices was nothing short of amazing and some of it was VERY good. However, much of it was mediocre including the dessert pies. As the price was $113.90 per person (including a 10% tip was less than our normal 20% because the meal was basically self-serve and alcohol was not included), it would have been nice to have tastier better quality food.

    Thanksgiving.. Food was ok. Nothing to write home about desert station was dismal the place was beautiful and ample space between tables and guests. There is much to improve between the food and the service staff.

    I hosted a dinner for friends and business colleagues on Friday evening at the Roberts Restaurant. The Manager, Antonio, and his staff performed beautifully, both welcoming and serving. The food, both appetizers and entrees, were well prepared and nicely presented. I would recommend the Roberts and its Staff for any regular or special event. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening.

    The setting is incomparable. High ceilings, chandeliers, rich wall and floor coverings, a reasonably price albeit small menu, and attentive service makes for a pleasant breakfast destination. Food is prepared to order so no buffet here.

    Food was very bland. Had not taste. Ordered crab soup and shrimp and grits and none of it had any taste. There was a ring of oil around that shrimp and grits indicating they had been sitting a long time. Service was very slow even though it was late and there was almost no one in the restaurant. Price was expensive but the food was not worth it at all. I don't recommend Roberts Restaurant.

    Beautiful environment! Food was good, nothing very memorable, but met our needs for meeting friends. Expensive, but worthwhile for us having lovely, quiet place away from crowds or annoyances. No problem placing our orders or receiving food, but service was minimal. A pot of coffee was left on table, but with 6 people, didn't last long and server didn't return to refill. Server also didn't return to see if we had further needs.

    One of the very few holdouts for serious business people to meet in an environment that is not over powered by music (designed for the 20 - 25 age group). Roberts restaurant has retained the most valuable lessons from the very best establishments of the past - carpeting, drapes, and other soft surfaces quiet a room and add immeasurably to achieving a pleasant experience. The current rage for stainless steels, glass, and hard surfaces found in so many new and incorrectly updated establishments --- are fad, not fashion, and certainly not in the long run welcoming environments.

    I made a reservation for a client breakfast meeting (for 7 people) and they had no record of a reservation - when I had a confirmation. Luckily it was early enough in the morning that they were able to accommodate us.

    We came here for Mother's Day breakfast. Reservation process was easy. The restaurant also called us to provide additional dining options that were not available via the OpenTable reservation process. Much appreciated! Food was great, service was great despite it being very busy. The hotel itself is a DC landmark hotel and contributed to the ambiance and fabulous experience. Overall, we enjoyed it thoroughly.

    Lovely venue for any meal. We missed the buffet approach to Sunday brunch caused by the pandemic. Limited menu instead. All good with meal, hope their lovely weekend brunch will be back in future!

    Great service. Our server was attentive and very quick - anticipating needs before we even asked. The salad was fresh, tasty and filling. Only complaint is that the crab cake had filling in it (bread?eggs?not quite sure). I'm admittedly spoiled when it comes to crab cakes having spent lots of time in Maryland, so it's disappointing when chefs try to stretch the crab by adding fillers. The open, airy and elegant Art Deco ambience more than made up for the disappointing crab cakes!
