The Roof Garden at The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Our waiter, Derrick, was outstanding!!!!!
The food and service were very good. There’s not much of a view. Although I like food on the rare side, my medium rare burger was more rare than medium. I was fine with it but others would probably not like red meat inside.
Nice, quiet place for lunch. Service was impeccable.
Very slow service, and the "whole stuffed branzino" was butterflied, dried-out and unstuffed. In all, an over-extended, mediocre meal at a very high price.
Just a nice place for the day. I would never go back for dinner.
The Roof Garden is a great experience from start to finish. The service, the food, the experience is well worth the price paid. I highly recommend it for an intimate lunch, dinner, or even a business meeting. The varied styles / selections of foods should suit even the pickiest of eaters.
We celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. We loved the food, the service , the venue. All the staff was incredible helpful and nice. It is a special place that I recommend for couples and friends!!
Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. Great service, fabulous food and a beautiful outdoor venue. Love it!
Great setting. Food and service was good. Will definitely be back
Posh setting, LA sunshine, good selection of food and drinks, and great service from Brenda.
It took an hour and a half after ordering our dinners. The food except for 2 hamburgers were inedible. The other 6 dinners were terrible.
The waiters keep making . It was a birthday dinner .Also my husband was sent a bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne but we never got it. Only the card was sent to our table.
It was a fiasco.
Pleasant surroundings and great service!
As usual, simply wonderful. People are lovely, setting is wonderful, food is delicious! What's not to love. And prices are relatively sane for the quality, service, ambience and location.
Special thanks to Derrick and Offer. Great team, great leadership.
We attended the Friday night barbecue, and it was delicious. The setting is beautiful and perfect for a summer evening dining al fresco!
The food is about what you'd expect at a poolside restaurant at a 2-star hotel. All of it tasted bland. I was hungry and couldn't even finish. Yet the prices they charge, and the menu descriptions, set you up for a fine dining experience. Truly a disappointment.
Great food, drinks, service and ambience. A perfect evening.
I had a lovely time on the roof at the Peninsula. We enjoyed drinks and a couple of small appetizers that were delicious. On a beautiful day I don't think there's a better place.
Always great each time we return to the roof garden for breakfast. Love it there and we’re always made to feel so comfortable by the team!
Very bad experience at the Roof Garden. We ordered veggies and received them half an hour after our entrees, the table where we were sitting was extremely dirty, in the chairs we found medication and the servers' clothes were full of stains. We were promised a compensation by phone but have never received any.
The Roof Garden has an intimate setting. The service is very attentive. There are good choices on the menu. The food is delish! I had the tuna tartare & a watermelon salad for lunch. At their Friday evening BBQ, I had a crab po’boy, then apple pie for dessert. Later, I had their awesome s’more. Of note is the bread basket that comes with the meal. We had a soft mini baguette, olive bread, moist zucchini bread, and big, thin cheese crackers. Yum!
Salads were horrible. And noise was vert loud!
I highly recommend the summer rooftop barbecue menu, available seasonally.
The food and service are excellent. The Summer BBQ menu is so good. My wife had the branzion, I had the beef ribs. Really delicious with a nice crust on the ribs. Branzion was mild and great. The bar is really good, I had an excellent mojito. The service is attentive and courteous, and they really know the menu. Highly recommended.
We love the Rooftop Garden at The Peninsula. The food is always good and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. The service is always excellent.
Server said the manager knew us and offered a fruit plate for the table. It was then charged to us.
Exemplary service by our waiter (Derek?) and manager Mary. Added to an already wonderful evening's experience. Can't wait to go back
Always great food and a beautiful setting. Summer weekend nights are BBQ and all 6 of us had a great time and meal. Usually the service is a cut above; however last night we had a waitress who was MIA most of the evening.
This was always a dependable restaurant. My 3 friends and I will NOT be going back!! EVERYONES food was awful I had to send my Chinese chicken salad back....the dressing was soy sauce. Yuck. My friends Cobb salad was minced so finely , it tasted like mush. The service was poor. This is NOT what the Rooftop restaurant has been for the last 25 years. Truly awful!!!
Great lunch place with good food and a view of Beverly Hiils and Century City
I love the ambiance of this spot but the food was disappointing and our waiter rushed us as they all seemed to want to close up and leave around 9:30.
Overall, very good as usual
What a lovely place to have brunch, lunch or dinner! The service is impeccable.
Love it. Great food. Always the best service...one of our go-to’s in Beverly Hills....not pretentious just good food. You pay for these but you do get what you pay for here.
The food was just OK. I had the BBQ beef ribs and asked for the left overs to be boxed for take home, including the bones, for the dogs. When I got home, the bones had been removed, which was the whole point since the meat was dried out and not very good. The grilled Mexican corn was smothered in mayonnaise. Probably won’t go back again.
We went there for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The staff was excellent and attentive, but not in your face. The food on their new menu was wonderful. I had the short ribs made right near me on the BBQ. They were great, so tender and delicious. The Mexican corn is to die for. They gave us a cheesecake for dessert! Loved the cocktails too!
Two weeks before I had sent back a dried out burger on the Rooftop of the Waldorf and then reluctantly settled for another dried out burger. The service was mediocre at best. Before dinner on the Rooftop at the Peninsula I was skeptical. But I went through with the reservation because it is what my birthday friend wanted. I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't brave enough to try the burger, but all the food we ordered was perfect, the service as well. The burger at $24 vs. the $32 at the Waldorf, I'll would imagine would probably been significantly better than the Waldorf as well.
It is a small space— food is good but overpriced for this venue.
Our waiter was so kind and was really attentive to us! 💗
