The food is always solid and as expected and the beer was good — but we finished every bite of food and drink on our table and then waited another 10-15 minutes before a waiter even got close enough to flag down. No one checked on us once our food arrived — I likely would have ordered another beer but no one came by until we were ready to go. A group of waiters, including the one assigned to us originally, was sitting at the bar eating pizza with their backs to us — it was very unclear whether they were on a break or not. The only waiter who seemed to be working was not originally assigned to us and had to walk all the way across the restaurant when we were finally able to get her attention.

Only reason I gave slight noise was that we were outside and the road can be quite busy. Apart from that, great food and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Will definitely be back!

Food and service was outstanding. We had the Baked Feta appitizer on the recommendation from our server and it was fabulous. We all had burgers and they were excellent as well! Great time, food, and service!

The salads were uninspired — the Cesar was bland and romaine had no taste. The pizza was good as was the beer selection, although they didn’t have the beer I wanted. I’ll give it another try.

It was Father’s Day and we have been there a couple of times before but the lack of servers are affecting the place. Our food for the first time wasn’t great. Salmon was dry and my son had pasta and it was flavorless. We told the server our concerns. But overall service is always good and food too.

The good was amazing, as always, which is why we like coming to Rustico. But unfortunately, the service has struggled the last few times we've come. Orders have been forgotten to be put in, waits of almost 20 minutes to get orders taken, and appetizers arriving with entrees (when we were specifically asked and confirmed that we'd like appetizers first) all add up to a not so great overall experience, unfortunately. But perhaps this is a COVID issue? The pizzas, salads, and pasta are SO good! I'm hopeful for a better experience next time

We had friends visiting from out of town and one of them doesn’t eat Gluten. Rustico did have a lot of gluten free options and that friend did enjoy her meal. The rest of us thought the food was meh. The service was great until we finished our meals and had to wait 10 minutes after asking for a box for food to flag down the server for our check, then quite sometime again before they picked up our payment.

So, Rustico is my "old faithful" and go-to when I'm looking for a couple of beers and predictable food. Pizza is good and the salads are decent. If you're looking for an app to get things started - gotta try the carrot hummus dip. Its not always on the menu but they typically have it - just ask.

I wanted to try this restaurant for a while and it finally happened. Host was friendly and seated us where we preferred. Service was good. Great beer selection (although I managed to pick one they had just ran out of). I recommend the risotto tots and the Sgt Pepperoni pizza. Ah, their Caesar salad was also fresh.

We were in town for the weekend. Did not think to book a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night (time to shift out of pandemic mode!). Rustico had a lot of availability which is a sign in a town like D.C./neighboring VA. It's a great looking place in a really quaint location. But it's a competitive restaurant market and when you are only mediocre, you stand out. Service was fine. The servers were friendly. Although they never checked in on us to see how things were and the restaurant was not busy. But the food was super disappointing. I got the fried cauliflower. It was ok. But didn't taste fresh. I also got the harvest salad, only the mixed greens seemed fresh. Soggy veggies and chicken that tasted like it had been reheated. My daughter's chicken fingers were dry.

We go regularly & the staff is great. The food on the regular menu is good but used to be better (To be fair, the addition of arugula & Brussels sprouts to much of it isn’t likely to make me a fan.) before the covid shutdown. Their pizzas are still quite good. They do have a great beverage menu & one of our party is hooked on their stouts.

We took our son who has celiac to your restaurant and were so impressed by the level of attention and service, given our dietary needs. They were accommodating for a variety of food insensitivity. The server went above and beyond. Delicious food, great environment! We will absolutely return. Special kudos to the quinoa salad top and irresistible brownie sundae!
