About the restaurant
Chef AZEUCHI trained in the art of Kaiseki Course cuisine in Japan for 16 years. Upon graduating
culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi
entertained him with his beautiful dishes.

This is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I have tried a number of omakases in the city, and in my opinion, this is the very best one.

We ordered hamachi tacos and toro tartare as appetizers (both were amazing), the pork chop (a little dry but the flavors were awesome - the kimchi saved it), the chilean sea bass (amazing), and the seasonal vegetables. We also ordered the cheesecake souffle and chocolate dessert and were served a coconut ice cream for our anniversary. We dined at the Waikiki Morimoto more than 14 years ago and were very happy they still had the toro tartare at the Vegas Morimoto. Overall a fabulous meal!

The food is VERY good. They made us a three course sashimi sushi dinner that was absolutely fantastic. Staff was so pleasant and accommodating. Even the non-sushi eaters were extremely happy with alternative meals. We made a last minute reservation on a Saturday and they took our party of 7 right away. Thank you to the staff for an incredible meal!!
