The menu showcases sustainably sourced fish and shellfish from waters across the globe: Faroe Island salmon; roasted red Alaskan king crab legs; octopus al pastor; roasted Maine lobster and dry-aged Hawaiian big eye tuna chop. For carnivores, Middleton rounds out his offering with expertly charred steaks and various add-ons. The desserts by Michael Outlaw, Lakeside's sultan of sweets, are not to be missed, especially his "Chocolate Sensation" and "Pears & Popcorn."

Great experience. The honey walnut prawns are the best we've ever had. House made salad dressings are so unique and good I wish I could have bought some to take home. The fish selections are amazing with my repeat favorite being the sablefish/black cod. The side of mushrooms are not your usual grocery store buttons and are a huge portion! We are not sushi people so it's really wonderful to go to a Japanese restaurant and still have a nice selection of premium ethnic food to choose from!

This was our 2nd try going here (first one we had a reservation but the restaurant was closed for a private event and the restaurant did not let us know our reservation would not be honoured. Food was great!

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Basilico for our anniversary and treated with a delicious "anniversary cheesecake" for dessert. Staff is friendly and attentive. Our server, I believe his name is Jake, recommended a wine I enjoyed very much that I would not have otherwise chosen without his assistance. My husband enjoyed the gnocchi, and I loved the octopus appetizer and the branzino prepared in an unexpected and unusually tasty manner. The music by Shawn Silva was great ... not so loud that you could not carry on a conversation and a great collection of older R&B. We have been to Basilico in the past and will continue to do so in the future as it is one of our favorite restaurants with the added bonus of not being on the Strip or in a casino. Lots of parking. We plan next to visit and enjoy sitting outside now that the weather has cooled down where fire pits provide additional ambiance. A lovely place to feel special.
