Don’s Favorite Foods is a prix-fixe restaurant created by husband and wife team Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith.
We also offer cocktails courtesy of Jeffrey Morgenthaler and Benjamin "Banjo" Amberg.

Our Italian and French-influenced menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though his experiences working at Michelin-starred restaurants all over the country.

From Don: At Don’s, you may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might also find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, and popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because the Laurents family makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

The three of us tried this restaurant because of the many interesting items on the menu. We ordered a bunch of dishes, most of them without meat, and not one of them was disappointing. Most of the them were starters but the sizes were quite generous. All the staff was friendly and the service pretty attentive. So, overall a good experience and a place we'll return to in order to try some of the other items.

Our experience as always was perfect! We started with the iceberg wedge salad which is so good and can easily serve 4 people. The Bistro Tender was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We had two yummy sides of mashed potatoes and couscous. We finished with one of each of their desserts. Our waiter Paul was the best. My husband wanted a mocktail and Paul said we can suprise you. The mocktail they came up with was delicious! Thanks Lake Creek Lodge! ♥️

James Beard-nominated, Chef's Prix Fixe Tasting Experience by Executive Chef Jose Camarena, recontextualizes Mexican cuisine and culture through Storytelling.

We exclusively offer a prix fixe tasting menu experience, with 7-Course and a 10-Course options. Both experiences are meant to honor the complex history that created each dish, as well as leave a lasting impact on all those who taste this beautiful food and listen to our stories.

República is a tasting menu-only restaurant.
We offer a 7-course menu at $128 or a 10-course menu at $150 per person.

We kindly require all guests to disclose all dietary restrictions and allergies prior to their reservation. We are unable to accommodate allergies to nightshades, chile, allium, rice . Additionally we are not a gluten free kitchen and are unable to provide nut and seed free diners.

Delicious food and terrific service! We dine here frequently and always enjoy it. There were four of us and each enjoyed our dishes of MahiMahi, Halibut, Short Ribs and Lamb Chops.

We had a great time at this restaurant. We ordered a few appetizers to share, very tasty and creative, and good quantity. The filet mignon was really good, and was recommended by other reviewers.
