James Beard-nominated, Chef's Prix Fixe Tasting Experience by Executive Chef Jose Camarena, recontextualizes Mexican cuisine and culture through Storytelling.

We exclusively offer a prix fixe tasting menu experience, with 7-Course and a 10-Course options. Both experiences are meant to honor the complex history that created each dish, as well as leave a lasting impact on all those who taste this beautiful food and listen to our stories.

República is a tasting menu-only restaurant.
We offer a 7-course menu at $128 or a 10-course menu at $150 per person.

We kindly require all guests to disclose all dietary restrictions and allergies prior to their reservation. We are unable to accommodate allergies to nightshades, chile, allium, rice . Additionally we are not a gluten free kitchen and are unable to provide nut and seed free diners.

The three of us tried this restaurant because of the many interesting items on the menu. We ordered a bunch of dishes, most of them without meat, and not one of them was disappointing. Most of the them were starters but the sizes were quite generous. All the staff was friendly and the service pretty attentive. So, overall a good experience and a place we'll return to in order to try some of the other items.

Absolutely wonderful! We had the mole, which apparently changes weekly. But this week's included flattened chicken breasts battered in rice flour and sauteed perfectly, served on a thick brown mole sauce with mild peppers. Heavenly! The portion easily fed the two of us. We also had one of the best margarita's I've ever tasted. Service, decor, ambiance and the park outside make this a fabulous place to go.

My husband & I came here for an early anniversary celebration, & we were blown away by the deliciousness + amount of food we got for the value, as well as the top-notch service! We sat at the counter & got to chat with the bartender, Josh, who truly made us feel like close friends conversing over a meal. Can’t wait to go back!

My partner and I celebrated both his birthday and our 1 year anniversary here! The $1 oyster happy hour is rockin! The staff was so kind, knowledgeable and considerate of our celebration. They gave us sparkling wine shots and a matcha Rice Krispie treat with a candle for the birthday boy!! The food was divine, the wine and cocktails were lovely. Can’t wait to go back ♥️♥️♥️

Food was absolutely delicious. So were the drinks. My only recommendation to others would be to only order food when you are ready to eat, not all at once. The food came out SOO fast! Definitely not a con, we just weren't prepared for it to come out so quickly but certainly a pleasant surprise.
