There seems to be less staff to assist the influx of customers with consequent inadequate service to meet basic requests.

About the restaurant
Taking his passion and the experience he gained staging at Picholine in NYC and Madrona Manor in Napa along with his work at Brennan’s, Haven, Soma and most recently as consulting Chef for Saint Genevieve in West Ave, at 26-years-old Kevin Naderi opened his first restaurant, Roost in December, 2011. Roost’s 50-seat space is cozy and unpretentious amid walls paneled with old shutters and Edison-like light fixtures fashioned from gutter drains. Roost’s rustic and diverse menu is revised every three weeks, inspired by local availability of farm-fresh seasonal ingredients and flavors of the world including the American south, Asia and from the Middle East, taking advantage of Naderi’s Persian heritage. Says Naderi, “I’ve taken a little bit from everywhere I’ve worked. It’s a good showcase for what we do.”

The food was spot on. We tried a variety of the foods on their menu. Everything came out very quick and was delicious. We had our two kids with us and they actually enjoyed every single item from the cauliflower to the fish and grits plates. The food is fresh, tastes amazing and substantial amounts on every plate. We loved it and will be back soon.

About the restaurant
We’re serving up tasty farm-to-kitchen dishes & cocktails out of our from-scratch-only kitchen and bar. Microwave? Never heard of it. We use slow-cooking methods on our live-wood grill, smoker, and spit because food just tastes better that way.
We believe that local is a place as much as it is a way of eating. Everything on our menu is infused with and inspired by the local ingredients available each season. All of this goodness is served to you as you kick your feet up in our rocking chairs, dine at a fancy table, or relax out on our porch.

About the restaurant
Vino & Vinyl is a chef-driven restaurant/supper club, with hand-selected small-production wines, a short craft beer list, music played on vinyl records, and the paintings of local artists on the walls.

Our Happy Hour consists of eight different small-bite food options (like the Chef's Fried Rissoto with tomato sauce, or the Pork Belly Bites with a bourbon glaze!), and a dollar off of all of our wines by the glass.

But dinner is where it's at. Be sure to check out our menu online for all the current offerings! Also, the Chef will offer a feature now and then, so make sure you ask your server upon arrival!

For the music, we play a wide variety of old and new... all on vinyl records!

Service, food, and music were excellent! I really loved their wine flight selection and the cheese and half and half boards are perfect to have with it.

I reserved a table for lunch for my wife's birthday earlier this week. Came expecting great views and hoping for decent food. Found food that beat the great views and very good service. Overall, I think this place presents a good value for any kind of special event and I expect that we will come again, maybe for dinner next time. I imagine the winter sunsets would be something special to see...

Went for lunch with sister. Service was great. Pizza crust was a bit hard but tasty. Ribeye was very thin and fat was not charred nor trimmed but flavor was there. Branzino was delicious with crispy skin. Drinks were good. Lemon tart and smores dessert were ok.
