We were greeted in a very timely manner when we entered. Our drink order was taken promptly and the food was very good. The only negative was the slow arrival of our dinner entrées. When we arrived, there was no more than 20 customers. Our entrées were a flat bread and a rare steak. It was slightly over an hour from walking in to receiving our food. The food was very good, but based on the slow pace, I probably won't be going back in the near future.

I believe our server's name was Sashika or something like that. A lovely human being that was so thoughtful about the service she provided...super! The drinks were spot on. Food was good for a hotel restaurant in particular.

For a special occasion, we reserved a table at Johnny’s Steakhouse as we enjoy a good steak. We were greeted by Miss Avis who is warm , friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza hotel sectioned in a quaint area with a fine dining atmosphere. Our handsome waiter, Trey, was full of personality and great service. The menu offered a wonderful three course special from which I thoroughly enjoyed capresse salad, delicious salmon and a slice of their homemade pumpkin pie. My husband decided upon the 20oz bone-in ribeye with salad and side. We were amazed at the tenderness and incredible perfection of the ribeye. He even cut it with a fork to prove how truly tender it was. THIS MEAL AND DINING EXPERIENCE IS A DEFINITE 10 and more! Oh, and the French onion soup was amazing as well. The cheese was smoothly atop the toasted bread slice making it a delight to enjoy. Do not let the hotel location discourage any opportunity to delight in this ‘hidden jewel’ of outstanding dining. And, when you do go, ask for Trey. He is fun and very attentive. The top chef dropped by our table for our compliments. He was pleased to know how much we enjoyed his culinary talent. He plans a Thanksgiving buffet that he says will be over-the-top, which is sure to be remarkable!
