– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

We dined at LaLucha next door first for appetizers and drinks. We were celebrating my Sister’s Birthday and the fried chicken, biscuits and fries did not disappoint. The Best fried chicken we’ve eaten at a restaurant. We had dinner at Superica and I absolutely loved the ginger margarita and chicken fajitas. Very tasty and good! Will definitely be back at both restaurants.

WE thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. Our watier Eric, did an amazing job of recommending dinner specials, and uncorking a great wine selection for us. The Oysters Rockefeller were cooked better than any previos visit and served piping hot with lemon, crackers, and hot sauce on the side. The special Lobster Ravioli was innovative, creative, and just absolutely amazing. What a huge nod and applause to the Chef for creating such an amazing dish. The bar drinks were also fantastic, and the service from Eric was stellar. This was one of our best visits ever, at Willie G's in Galveston.

The restaurant was busy on a Friday night, which is a great sign. The service was great. The food was fresh, served hot, and very delicious. I ate more than I should have, but it was so tasty I couldn’t resist. I’d recommend the fried chicken, house double pan fried noodles (crispy and not on the menu), Mongolian beef, crispy honey chicken and or shrimp, well just about anything. It is all good.

I had a wonderful experience. The ENTIRE staff was inviting and accommodating. My food was Amazeballs!!!!! Omg! My drinks were on PoinT! The ambiance made my photos gorgeous! If I had to provide a possible suggestion, it would probably be if you want a Moderate noise level, definitely either go on the front patio or inside. All in all, if i stayed in the city, it would be a regular visitation for me!!! Superb!
