Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

Excellent in every respect! From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted by the hostess, to every interaction with our server Al, and Miquel, it was perfect. The bartender’s cocktails were fabulous and every dish was simply perfect. Service was the most gracious and well-informed we’ve had in the area in YEARS - top notch. On top of all that, the setting was wonderful- soft lighting but gentle down-lighting at each table, and a great soft playlist that we could just hear and enjoy without it ruining conversation. Fantastic evening in every way!

My husband and I went there for our 20th anniversary. It is a little far for us but it was worth the drive. The setting on the Sassafras river is beautiful. I would like to go back in warm weather to enjoy the large patio. Our dinner was great. I had rockfish and my husband had ribs and a crab cake. There were lots of good choices on the menu. Our waitress was very good. We got complimentary desserts since it was our anniversary which was very nice! There is a tavern in addition to the main dining room which looked good. Might try that next time

Everything was exceptional except our pizzas were not very hot and we were told there was no way to warm them up. They would have been excellent if they could have been warmed up.
