Our innovative Workforce Development Program is designed as a positive youth development space that supports the career exploration and job readiness opportunities of young people 16-24 years old. Interns earn industry credentials, explore career and educational pathways that suit their individual abilities, and experience real-world, on the job training.

Led by a skilled team of industry professionals with shared lived-experience and incorporating a cadre of community-based partners, we work to build bright futures with and alongside our young people.

Café Reconcile is a destination lunch spot for a wide cross-section of New Orleanians as well as visitors from all across the country. Focusing on the kind of “soul food” for which New Orleans is known, the restaurant has earned high praise from local and national critics.

When guests dine in the cafe, funds go directly back into our Workforce Training Program ensuring Interns and Alumni have essential supports.

SukhoThai, serving our "Classical Thai Cuisine" in New Orleans since 2003, is the only restaurant in Louisiana awarded a Thai Select Premium certification by the Royal Thai Government for quality Thai cuisine, superior service and beautiful interior design. We are well known for our excellent seafood dishes, wok-fired stir-fries, traditional curries and noodles, and our extensive vegan menu. We don't hold back when it comes to spices - we are serious about Thai chilies! But we always customize the spice level to your liking.

What a great room to watch a rain blow by! High ceilings, southern exposure that’s lovely in winter. Delicious food and good service. We had green curry—delicious, a very generous cup of Tom yum soup to start. House made Coconut ice cream is a special treat.

The Red Maple was originally owned and operated by the Trauth Family, a German-American family of restaurateurs spanning 100 years in Gretna. And what began in 1963 continues to this day, holding to its German roots through its rustic Alpine lodge decor, extensive beer selection and annual Oktoberfest celebration. In fact, it was a red maple tree in the side yard that inspired the name of the bar – The Red Maple – with the restaurant being added in 1965.

Now for over 50 years, The Red Maple has been the rendezvous spot for West Bank movers and shakers known for its Prime cut steaks, New Orleans favorites and fresh Louisiana seafood.

Today, under the passionate guidance of Proprietor Brent Trauth and his sister, Carroll Gales, The Red Maple continues to deliver on its reputation for delicious food, exceptional service and rich Louisiana history. A rich and storied past that is only upstaged by the dining experience itself.

Carroll is an amazing general manager who always makes sure each guest feels welcomed. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The food is excellent and consistent. We are fortunate to have this gem on the Westbank!

We walked in on a Friday night and was seated almost immediately. The restaurant was full and everyone around us was enjoying a good meal. I had a crab meat au gratin the salad that came with. It had a lot great pair.. I thought the food was good and the service was very good

SukoThai food is very fresh, everything on the menu we hoped to see. We had papaya salad, Tom yum soup, tempura eggplant and tamarind shrimp. All well prepared and served quickly. Coconut ice cream for dessert was a rare treat. The restaurant was short-handed the night we were there. Used plates sat on our table a long time after we finished. Not appealing. On the plus side, the Marigny location is not a huge place and because we had a 6:45 reservation it was quiet in the dining rooms. Music was of the electronica, disco-type (why always that??!!) but it was on a low volume so tolerable. We will come back.
