We had a party of four. Everyone’s had different appetizers and entrees and all were excellent. There was a foul up in the kitchen that resulted in other parties seated 20 minutes after us getting their entrees before we got any appetizers. The waitress was stench to the max but really hustled to handle all her tables. Great attitude, personality, professionalism and understanding. Made sure we were compensated for our having to wait.

It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years.

Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. These values have been central to Ellen and Linwood’s vision, and we hope are felt by our customers each day.

Great food, always! My wife had the Crab Cake and I went outside my usual picks and tried the Caramelized Scallops and Duck Salad. Delicious meal…make sure you save room for dessert!

The menu complemented the farm-to-table sentiment the restaurant follows. The use of local seasonal foods made for flavors hard to come by. The experience was overall very classy, but not ostentatious. Very wonderful and friendly staff made everything even better. Overall everything was very well done and I would like to come back to try more of the menu.

We have been going to Rehoboth for years and this was one of the best dinners we have ever had. The corn and crab bisque was amazing. The seafood pasta and stuffed shrimp were equally as good. We are still thinking about our meal. We can’t wait to go back!

Back to school brunch is a great idea, and fun for us grandparents, too! Food was great, mimosas are always a nice touch. Shout out to our server Tatum(?) , so polished as a server and fun to be around.
