Sushi master Ryuichi Nakano casts a wide net at SanKai, drawing longtime fans and welcoming newcomers to his intimate new sushi restaurant in the heart of downtown Edmonds. Enjoy our cozy dining room, omakase sushi bar, or heated outside dining in our domes.

Please note we are a small restaurant and children (babies) need to me accounted for in your reservation if you need seating/highchair. Stroller space is limited and may not always be accommodated.

They have very fresh fish and that’s the main ingredient in sushi. The variety of servings makes for a delicious eating experience. Plus the waitress, Yuri, was very pleasant. Yes, we enjoy dinning at SanKai.

Pretty much the best happy hour in South Lake Union. Excellent sushi and drinks for a really great price. Definitely make a reservation, the place is packed during happy hour!

Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. The interior is multi-faceted, with a black slate tiled traditional dining room, a gorgeous 14 person capacity wooden sushi bar, a semi private "tatami" room which holds 12 people, a larger 25 person private dining room, an enclosed "back patio" casual dining room complete with tropical garden, a black concrete liquor bar with custom sake cocktails and fusion traditional cocktails. The variety of atmospheres allows for a different experience with every visit, and the vastness and quality of the menu does the same. For the budding sake enthusiast or the seasoned veteran, the sake menu at Umi is bottle for bottle the best found anywhere outside of Japan!

This place was amazing! My friend and I had a great time there with Chirasi for dinner. The sushi was the best and the chocolate ice cream as a dessert was fantastic! This restaurant is perfect for any type of groups. I love their service taste of their food. I strongly recommend the food for anyone who wants to be satisfied with the high quality of food and experience.
