Cafe Juanita features Executive Chef and Owner Holly Smith's award winning Northern Italian cuisine prepared using the freshest Northwest ingredients and complimented by an award-winning wine list.
Cafe Juanita serves prix-fixe multi-course tasting menus with optional wine pairings, and many other tempting possibilities to embellish your meal. Current menus can be viewed at www.cafejuanita.com. We are happy to modify dishes for dietary restrictions; please advise when making reservations. We offer four tasting menus from which you may choose: omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan, ranging in price per person from $150-$190. We have a supplemental a la carte menu, and tasting menu items can also be ordered a la carte.
Dress code is elegant, formal *no leisure or athletic attire please.

I enjoyed it very much. However, over the phone, they quoted me a fixed price of $160 it was $205. For three people that’s additional $160 including tip. It was enjoyable and very delicious. Portions are small. The women left content. My wife finished everything she was fed. 20 years, I’ve never seen her able to finish an entire meal out. I left hungry, went home and ate a plate of crackers and cheese.

We had a really wonderful dinner at Wa'z. The flavor combinations for each dish were unique and really highlighted the character of each principal ingredient. The origins and treatment of each dish were explained, and it was so interesting to see each dish prepared in front of us. Much of the seafood seems to be shipped in from Hokkaido, and I would say overall it was comparable to a similar dinner I had in Kyoto, which is really saying something given the high standards for food and service in Japan. We, and other groups, were there to celebrate a special occasion, and they included a birthday candle and bouquet for the birthday boy in our group, which made it very special. Beverage service was fine, but a little below expectations for this level of an establishment. For example, we did not have our glasses of tea and soda regularly filled. Not wanting to be rude by implying the server was not doing her job, I waited for my glass to be refilled before eventually doing it myself. Most in our party don't drink alcohol, so perhaps the server lost interest when she realized we would not be purchasing a lot of it, but what distinguishes a very high end restaurant is that the service would be the same whether you were ordering an expensive bottle of wine or a glass of water. Also, be aware that a 20 percent gratuity is automatically added to the bill, but you might not notice because the bill is folded over. Even so, I might have added an additional gratuity due to all the care and attention the chefs took in explaining the dishes and beautiful presentation, and otherwise impeccable service, but decided not to, given the beverage service. To summarize, what I loved most about Wa'z was the focus on the food, from the outstanding beef and seafood to their accompanying ingredients which are chosen to highlight their flavors rather than confuse them; and the very friendly and knowledgeable chefs, and relaxed atmosphere, which can be unusual in a high end restaurant.

We are a passionate group of cooks who do not cut corners and hope that is evident when you try our food. Our signature dish is a bone-in beef rib that is sous-vide before grilling over an open wood fire and finished with rendered bone-marrow. We source many of our ingredients from local farms and fisheries.

Our first time to Carnal. What a great space. We sat outside on the patio. Great food. Very innovative. The halibut, asparagus, and stracciatella were divine. Great service. Will come back again.

Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. Joule, the mature sibling to Yang and Chirchi’s restaurant, Revel, highlights Korea’s love of beef featuring unconventional cuts accompanied by distinctive and shareable side dishes.

Joule takes reservations for 1.75-3 hour time slots (depending on party size). We do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible and ask that you are considerate of other diners at the end of your meal. MariPili is a James Beard nominated Galician themed tapas bar providing a casual environment for elevated Spanish bar food and homestyle cooking. MariPili is named for chef's aunt and the bar and walls are adorned with Galician art and keepsakes. Estrella Galicia is served on tap and there are a wide variety of tapas options like the pan seared lingcod 'Bacallao a Mariñera' and Spanish omelet 'Tortilla de Patata' as well as our seasonal tasting menu Tapear Tapearei which includes many bite sized courses reflecting a more traditional tapas experience. Honoring the chef's blended heritage, the wine list features a selection from Spain and Washington exclusively.

Happy Solstice! Dinner was amazing as always! A little slow but it was a busy night at the restaurant and that’s always a good thing to see!

Innovatively Mediterranean, and delicious, Sabine provided us with a great, casual, early evening meal. Really, we could have been delighted, and full, with just the appetizers, but couldn't resist sharing two main courses, as well. The eggplant and halibut were both uniquely flavored and excellent.

This is our 3rd time visiting. Each time has been excellent. The food is unique and delicious. High quality. This is not your standard Indian food. We will return. Recommend.

What a fun place. Sat at the corner table that overlooked the swimming pool. Enjoyed run drinks and tapas. Enjoyed all of our entrees.
