The kitchen is the heart of the Campbell house which is why we created an expedition kitchen so customers can see all of the love and hard work that goes into our dishes. firefly's vision is a sustainable one; the frame of the building is recycled steel, all of the barn wood is reclaimed as is much of our furniture, the pond irrigates our gardens which greatly reduce our carbon footprint along with all the trash that comes with packaging food, we compost, are constantly upgrading our energy efficiency and NEVER use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our garden.

We had a great dinner at Firefly before going to a show at the Effingham Performance Center. Our waiter was attentive and served us at a leisurely rate so we didn't feel rushed (and we made it in plenty of time for the show). The food was terrific...cooked to perfection and piping hot. The salad before the main course was really tasty as well. We totally enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to anyone looking for a varied menu, great service and ambience. Thanks to the Firefly staff for a great meal!

Once again, the food and service were amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious, well-prepared, and well presented. Huge thanks to the team for being so attentive to our seafood allergy. Our server, Victoria, was fantastic and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Plus, the complimentary champagne for our anniversary was such a sweet touch. Thank you so much!

Great experience! The food was good and we had great service! It’s a beautiful place. We did not eat outside this time but have enjoyed eating outside previously when it was warmer. Overall great experience!

Such a friendly atmosphere and consistently good food and cocktails. Our server, Liz, was wonderful and we enjoyed a nice dinner with limited interruptions and fabulous meals all around. Portions are big enough to take home half for lunch the next day. Special shoutout to server Jamie, too - she's always wonderful! Great meal.

We loved everything about this restaurant linked to the hotel--the cleanliness, ambiance, amazing service, and great selection of food. The complimentary buffet breakfast was not vast, but plenty adequate and high quality (excellent breakfast burritos, fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, yogurt, others). The hotel is great! Thank you so much!
