Excellent meal, excellent time. Waiter (Claude) was friendly, forthcoming with his opinion on dinner specials and wine choices when we asked and he even surprised us with a small side "cup" of French Onion soup (one of CG's best) when we were uncertain as to Lobster Bisque or the soup! Steaks cooked exactly as requested (medRare and Med). Sides and desert equally as good. In a very crowded field, Capital Grill is easily one of (if not the) top steak houses.

In a city where there are 100's of steak house's Steak 48 is a top contender. The staff goes over and beyond expectations. The food is A+ Cant wait to return.

This one of the best places to end our trip to Chicago. It was a birthday week, had a GREAT time. The service was excellent the and the Filet Migon was the best I have ever had. Would recommed for a top notch dinner.

One of the best steakhouses I've been to. Took my girl here for our 2-year anniversary. Lovely ambiance, amazing food/drinks/dessert. No complaints. They even brought us free champagne and a cotton candy thing for our anniversary for free. Will def be back.

Rita delivered a great experience for my family ! Alfredo was excellent as well. It was my husband’s birthday and she did everything to make it more special! She is serious about her job and is a consummate professional! We will be returning. The management staff were also very attentive! Highly recommended!!

We were looking for a real Chicago steak house and found it at the Chicago Chop House. The food and service were superb. Two recommendations are the dry aged sirloin and the shrimp scampi. We absolutely would go there again.
