We could have done without the music and also, without the dog barking at the table next to ours (at outside tables). Otherwise, it was great!

We had a reservation for a Sunday at noon, for a party of 4 on the patio, under roof. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated promptly at the covered patio near the duck pond. We were served water immediately, and the waitress was very attentive. We ordered a variety of food, from fried pickles to green salad to two kinds of pizza. The salad was fresh, and the hot meals came out hot. Everything was delicious, we had leftovers, and we will be back for more. A very enjoyable experience!

Brought to the North Shore in 2017, Cafe El Tapatio brings the heat to the suburbs in a hip and urban environment. Focusing on traditional Mexican flavors we go above and beyond the typical run of the mill Mexican restaurant bringing one entrees like Arrachera XX, Pollo en Mole de Reyna, Camarones al Tequila, and Salmón Citrico; alongside various other traditionally flavored dishes. We enjoyed a terrific meal here. We all ordered different items. I got the chicken fajitas and they came out steaming hot…which I really appreciate! The service was great and we liked the decor. Overall, we would most definitely come back to Cafe El Tapatio.

Bar Cargo is a Roman pizza bar concept brought to you by Anthony Stefani, the son of notable Chicago restaurateur Phil Stefani. It was on a family trip to Italy that Anthony Stefani first fell in love with Roman-style pizza and where the concept for Bar Cargo came to life. After months of working with local chefs, pizzaiolos, and even a world pizza champion, the dough recipe and 96-hour rise process was perfected. The result is a thicker crust that is both light and airy. Topped with fresh & fun ingredients and baked in the Castelli ovens imported from Italy, the perfect Roman-style pizza is achieved.
Outside of the Roman pizzas, the menu includes a wide variety of bar bites, sandwiches, and salads. The name Bar Cargo is a nod to the shipping containers used throughout the concept’s structure and the many authentic Italian ingredients that are being shipped via cargo containers for their famous Roman-style pizza.

This place exceeded my expectations! Been looking for new bottomless mimosas restaurants to try and this was was a BIG HIT!!! Will definitely be back! The food is delicious, mimosas were amazing, service was excellent!! 10/10 for me!
