Dunstan tap and table is one our go to restaurant, they have a good variety of foods we had two appetizers (fried cauliflower and the stuffed poblano) both were tasty I had the fried pork sandwich, and my wife had the eggplant burger. We shared the lemon berry mascarpone cake; we enjoyed everything we had. Best you make a reservation on weekends.

We had such a wonder dinner the day before we came back tonight to try different options. Shoutout to Kayla for her knowledge on their local beer options. My husband was very happy with her recommendations. Food was wonderful and Damian was able to make our dessert request happen. Please give their blueberry compote a try. It is so good. Don’t miss your chance to dine here. Highly recommend.

Set in a restored 1890 barn just minutes from Sunday River, it blends ski-town comfort with cellar-level credibility. Candlelight, high beams, and a room built for lingering, not rushing. The kitchen is run by owner-chef Michael, who still butchers every steak in-house. Ribeyes and filets arrive with the kind of sear and seasoning you expect from a serious steakhouse. Thai chili cauliflower is a fan favorite. Fresh oysters, scallop risotto, and local fish “your way” give depth without feeling fussy. Modern Barn drinks like a wine bar with something to prove. The Wine Spectator award list runs deep, with 175+ bottles and all available by the glass. Martinis have become a local ritual, Service runs on neighborly instinct. The Modern Barn new scratch kitchen approach is wonderful. They do the best seafood around. The only negative is the wait time for the food to be served. But it was worth the wait!
