Fantastic authentic Basque, food superbly executed by chef Hector. I’m a very picky customer as I went to Culinary school and I think most restaurants in the area don’t live up to their billing. This one, however, exceeds it in spades everything was perfectly cooked and prepared with a beautiful presentation. Food was very tasty and authentic it’s one of my favorite restaurants in the whole Bay Area. I urge you to run not walk to this restaurant. It’s a gem.

Hello!
As of 2020 we have merged our two restaurants Café Bastille and B44 and are serving both menus off of our 44 Belden Lane location.
We are now open for indoor and outdoor dining at full capacity.
Our outdoor patio is covered and heated but if you choose to dine outdoors make sure to bring warm clothes since SF weather can be unpredictable.
We can accommodate large groups for any type of event, call us to inquire.
Reservations are made via Open Table or over the phone and walk-ins are also welcome.
When you make a reservation you will be given the choice to reserve a table outdoors or standard which means indoors.
We will continue to offer takeout and delivery via DoorDash, UberEats or Grubhub or by calling us directly.

Great local restaurant on Belden Lane. Mixed the menu up with Moules Mariners from Cafe Bastille, plus the Gambas, Patatas Bravas, and Lamb skewers from the B44 menu. Everything was excellent! I’m very sad that they’re closing at the end of this month!

The restaurant was full on a Saturday night and they paid as much attention to us as if it were empty! Angie, the bartender, delightful and answered all of our questions at length. Her suggestions were spot on. We loved it!!

Celebrated 23 years together at Telefèric, it did not disappoint! The food was excellent. The staff and service was top notch. Patrick was awesome! When you can't make it to Spain, Telefèric is the next best option.

Repeat diners - this time dinner was for husband’s birthday with teenage kids including 2 pescatarians. There were ample wonderful choices. Everything we ordered from cocktails and mocktails to pinchas and entrees was delicious- especially the main pork dish and the deviled eggs! We also loved the pulpo and the kale salad. Service was great and the ambiance is lively and social.
