Led by owner Emrah Kilicoglu, we are a small, tight-knit team dedicated to genuine hospitality. The menu, created by Chef Alican Boynak, comprises dishes from all over Turkey, with a focus on mezes, charcoal-grilled kebaps, and local produce. We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. What a great way to celebrate Oktoberfest!!!! Chef cooked schnitzel, sausages, German potato salad, giant pretzels and a very unique set of pickled vegetables! All was over the top delicious! Vibe was so festive and fun! Great beer and wine flights! Even authentic German entertainment- a phenomenal accordion player!!! Perfect weather sealed the deal! Just a really great night! Will definitely attend next year’s festivities!!!!

As of 2020 we have merged our two restaurants Café Bastille and B44 and are serving both menus off of our 44 Belden Lane location.
We are now open for indoor and outdoor dining at full capacity.
Our outdoor patio is covered and heated but if you choose to dine outdoors make sure to bring warm clothes since SF weather can be unpredictable.
We can accommodate large groups for any type of event, call us to inquire.
Reservations are made via Open Table or over the phone and walk-ins are also welcome.
When you make a reservation you will be given the choice to reserve a table outdoors or standard which means indoors.
We will continue to offer takeout and delivery via DoorDash, UberEats or Grubhub or by calling us directly.

We have been fans of Café Bastille and B44 for a long time-- we are so sad they are closing soon. This has always been a great place to go with guests or to celebrate an occasion! They have wonderful staff and great service. It was great to go there today and enjoy a delicious lunch and dessert on the patio.

Amazingly delicious and creative dishes, with clean ingredients. Couldn’t make up my mind as to what to get! Great ambiance and service. This is a SF downtown gem. Will be back soon!
