Delicious food and amazing flavors. Baron does not disappoint. really loved the squash blossom, Gnocci and frisée salad . The tomato sauce with bass was not my favorite but the fish was perfectly cooked Will definitely be back as I love the variety and quality of food . Our server was top notch and things moved at a perfect pace.

I visited this lovely restaurant for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, and our waiter was very attentive, providing great recommendations on the dishes. The food was delicious. We started with the crispy shishito peppers and the hearts of romaine, which came with a fantastic lemon-garlic-miso dressing, parmesan crisps, and toasted garlic bread crumbs. I had the crispy skin branzino for the main course, served with grilled lemon, roasted grape tomatoes, capers, oregano, zucchini, roasted fingerling potatoes, and garlic lemon butter. We also tried the Meyer lemon-black pepper gnudi, a delightful combination of English peas, asparagus, grape tomatoes, roasted sweet corn sauce, parmesan, and basil. Overall, a great dining experience!

Our experience was impeccable and exquisite! When I made the reservation I mentioned it was our anniversary. At the table was placed a “Happy Anniversary” card signed by the staff. Our waited, Bob, knew every single detail on the menu. He is a Sommelier and it shows. He gave us great recommendations. Our food was brought out by the chef and co owner, Danny. He was SO personable, caring, genuine and loving. So incredibly welcoming! We felt like we had a private date at the restaurant, it was absolutely flawless. The food is locally sourced from farms and you can taste how clean, fresh and vibrant it is. The desserts were out of this world. 10000% going back!

Went to Tar and Roses Wednesday night and it was pack and well-attended. Got to meet the manager who stopped by our table several times to make sure we were satisfied. The food was nice and special. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience especially.

Our food was excellent: Quinoa Salad with Shrimp for my guest and Buttermilk Fried Chicken for me. The wine choices were varied and of high quality at reasonable prices; and our service was good. Nick’s is an outstanding restaurant.

Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years.

We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible.

Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

Love everything about this restaurant except that they wait to seat you until all members of your party have arrived. In LA this is not a very logical policy.

Upper West's ever-changing menu draws inspiration from around the world while maintaining eclectic flavors unique to them. The bar offers Happy Hour Wednesday-Sunday from 4:30-7:00pm serving refreshing craft cocktails, handcrafted beer. The dinner menu is always evolving and includes ingredients sourced locally from the Santa Monica Farmers Market as well as local farmers such as Weiser Farms and Niman Ranch. Upper West is the perfect place to book large events for 20 or more guests and is an excellent private party venue for hosting corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, holiday festivities, rehearsal dinners, and more.
