Capo is hard to explain - it is housed in a totally non-descript building in Santa Monica, but once you walk past the velvet curtains, you enter a temple of cool. European vibe, with open hearth and eclectic art work. Then there’s the music - I don’t know another restaurant that can make Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin mix well with The Bee Gees and George Michael. Their wine list is exemplary. It is very expensive but totally worth it. Capo is our “go to” spot for special occasions when in LA.

Very high end feel with creative menu selections. It is great for a light healthy dinner . We had an amazing dessert that was just the best end to our Anniversary dinner. Excellent pairing of wine with the meal and Waiter knowledge.

It’s truly a fine dining experience. To me, as a local Marina del Rey, it is my “go to place“ for great Italian food. The pasta is homemade and delicious. I only complaint is that it only has beer and wine. I know they have applied for a liquor license, as I’ve asked. Otherwise… The perfect dining experience.

Some of the dishes were really tasteful while others needed more flavor ( oyster mushrooms tarragon salad were a bit bland) portions were just the right size. Music was great will definitely be back.
